PAARU Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

The Japanese GastroBar Paaru is definitely a hidden gem in Rhodes. We went for dinner during our stay in Kolymbia and you will find it inside the Atlantica Holiday Village. The concept is unique and reminded me of the modern GastroBars I visited my last time in Tokyo. We tried amazing sushi, fantastic bao buns, great pork katsu, incredible ramen and a well-balanced Japanese whiskey together with a Japanese gin cocktail which was super refreshing. I visited the restaurant last night and was truly impressed by the atmosphere. It was beautifully serene, providing an ideal escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The background music perfectly complemented the calm ambiance, making me feel genuinely comfortable. Beyond the wonderful atmosphere, the service at the restaurant was excellent.

The staff were courteous, attentive, and eager to assist, without making me feel pressured at any point. I truly felt valued as a customer. And of course, I can't fail to mention the food. Not to bash, but the gastrobar is a beautiful place, great decor, music. Service was good and very friendly. The food however is totally overrated. Absolutely nothing Japanese about It. Worst ramen ever in my life. Gas nothing with to do with a real ramen. A japanese person would be insulted… The boa buns were ok. And then the sushi…. really poor sushi.
