I came here with my fiancé for his birthday, expecting a special evening. I had noted the occasion when making the reservation, but unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment of it when we arrived.
While the atmosphere was lovely — perfect for photos and a romantic setting — the food and service were very disappointing. Despite there only being about seven tables occupied, it took over 40 minutes for our food to arrive.
We specifically came for the grilled prawns (half kilo), but they were served cold and completely unseasoned. Hoping to salvage the dish, we asked for garlic butter and were instead given minced garlic and two packets of Lurpak.
We also ordered tzatziki, the bread selection, and some French fries. No one checked in to see how our meal was going, and it felt like the staff were completely disengaged.
At the end of the meal, we politely shared our concerns with the manager, Panadolis, but he didn’t seem to care. His response to my complaint about the wine — which I only had one sip of — was that he still had to pay tax on it, which felt dismissive and unprofessional.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion. If you’re visiting for the ambiance and some beautiful photos, it’s worth a stop. But if you’re going for the food, I’d recommend looking elsewhere — the seafood lacked freshness, seasoning, and care in preparation. Definitely not...
Read moreLimanaki in Rhodes is a hidden gem that combines beautiful views, delectable food, and memorable service for a dining experience that stands out. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning sea view, which set the perfect backdrop for our meal.
You definitely need to book a table if you want to enjoy the terrace.
The food at Limanaki is truly a treat. We started with the burrata salad, which was simply delicious—fresh, creamy, and a perfect start to our meal. Next, we tried the ceviche. While it was lovely, it was perhaps a bit too thickly cut for my preference. Our meal culminated with pasta that was flavorful and satisfying.
One of the highlights of our evening was the service, which was both fast and friendly. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, his energy levels were quite remarkable. His rapid movements and slightly disheveled appearance were actually quite amusing and added a unique charm to our night.
Despite the slightly frantic pace, the overall experience at Limanaki was fantastic. The combination of excellent food, a breathtaking view, and quirky yet attentive service makes this restaurant a must-visit. I highly recommend Limanaki for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal in Rhodes, definitely the best...

We tried to book a table at 8 for 9. Optimistic but as we didn't get a confirmation so we just went to see if there was a table.
Walk in and they're about a 3rd of capacity, host had an attitude about the booking email but we got seated.
Service was ultra slow, we ended up having 5 different waiters approach for various things, one waiter took drinks order, another took food order, another cleared 2/5 plates another came to take the remaining 3 it was a bit of a shambles and a very odd set up from anything I've experienced before.
FOOD - trash!!!!! We spent £190 for 2. I'd have been happier at McDonalds. We got lobster, octopus, greens, mixed veg and chips for main. All fish was tough and over cooked so we ate half and gave up.
Waiter came to collect and said nothing about all the remaining food, he didnt care, wasnt interested? I'm not sure. He tried to sell us cocktails when we'd asked for the bill ????? He wasnt picking up the vibe and when he said "you're missing out" I had to hold my tongue and not point at all the left over food as to prove a point.
No one asked how our food was, how the night was or how we were. This place is in my top 5 worst food...
