( this opinion is based on two young adults 23yrs old, so more younger people join us next year šŸ˜…) First holiday in Greece, visited 30.08-9.09 and all I can say is, it was amazing! Truly the greatest service I have ever received. Starting with the things people complain the most- breakfast. Yes, it’s the same everyday but there’s so many options you can choose from that I don’t know how it could get boring. But the lunches and dinners- heads down. Every day something different, so even I, as a picky eater have had so many delicious meals 🤤 they do theme night for dinners, so it was all sort, Greek night, Italian night and lots and lots of fishes and other seafood. Also, everyday for lunch & breakfast there’s a separate station where two fantastic guys make Pizza from the scratch and pasta ( which also changes everyday). It was amazing, I had those two everyday as well as for both meals. Also during dinner time all the waitresses get you something to drink, and it’s much more fancier ( in a good way) than you can think. But if dinners get boring to you- don’t worry because you have a free access to the ala carte restaurant, once per your stay. It was delicious- something you won’t have from the buffet and the service was 11/10! Also during the day we could access snack bar next to the pool where you could get some hot&cold snacks as well as all of the drinks. But as we talking about the drinks, let’s get to the main bar. The two guys working there are fantastic (really work well together), but the big applause goes to the bartender Clement ( the older one). Made the best drinks, had so much fun behind the bar that the waiting was much nicer and he is such a great person. We gladly had some time to talk with him and If he doesn’t work there next year, we’re not coming back šŸ˜‚ But it would be better if there was another bar open during the evening hours so the lines won’t get that long during shows. About the Room- we had a beach front double room and man, the views from our balcony.. wish we could stay longer. The hotel itself was RIGHT next to the beach, unfortunately you have to pay for the sunbeds there but you could always use the free ones by the pool:) The infrastructure of the hotel was breathtaking. So much green space, so much freedom and it feels like the hotel never ends because of the garden. So pretty! The hotel also hired so many good performers that even me & my partner danced and had so much fun. The rooms are also cleaned everyday by the nicest ladies ever. I will also mention for my Polish people that there’s a Polish girl working at the hotel and she’s also super nice and helpful ā¤ļø Also, at the hotel ( next to the reception) are two guys that you can rent a car from, and you can even get it the next day directly from the hotel so that was great for us. overall, all of the staff made our stay so memorable and fantastic, that it was so sad to leave that place today.. we will be definitely coming back next year!

We arrived early May and during the day the weather is perfect however the pool is quite cold but I imagine when it heats up that wouldn't be an issue. The hotel is located within a cluster of other hotels and there is very little to do nearby except from watersports. If you want to leave to do something you need to hire a car or a bus because there is nothing within walking distances except a few supermarkets and a bar or 2. The hotel is surrounded by a few mountains which is great for scenery. The food is very diverse and quite a high standard. They have a good range of meats and other options. My favourite food is the fresh pizzas which they cook in front of you. They are wood fire cooked pizza and taste incredible. During the day there is a snack bar which does hotdogs and chips etc. The snack bar is lacking quality however does the job. The only problem with the snack bar is that not everything on the menu is included even though its an all inclusive so you have to be careful. There is a very good range of cocktails included for free as well lots of spirits. The drinks here a ridiculously strong however that might be a bonus for some people. Majority of the staff are lovely here and make you feel very welcomed. It is annoying that the pool closes at 6pm however there is always the sea. The beach is very stoney however the sea is lovely and haven't seen a single jellyfish. As a group of teenagers we were unable to hire a car at all nearby because all cars require a minimum age of 23 fpr insurance however you can get mopeds. The water sports on the beach are amazing. You can hire a boat for an hour for only €70 which is amazing. Overall I highly recommend the hotel however I recommend planning ahead for activities outside of the hotel and there is nothing to walk to.

Quiet all inclusive very luxurious resort. Small Waves hitting the rocky stones is soothing and most days no waves at all. Easy access huge bus to multiple attractions. One hour to ancient Rhodes city, airport and Acropolis. Nice entertainment. Fun activities crew. Hundred of umbrellas on beach. Nice calm harbor. Ioanna and Micholista were so professional and always friendly and inquisitive and informative. It really makes a difference when the staff appreciates its guests. At some resorts we were always greeted with hand on their heart with Appreciation. This resort it is best to have water shoes. Sandals are available for €8 at the mini market. We found live music at the bar across the street when ours was too long of a line. Just ask to have an electric pot in the room for coffee and tea. Impeccable Maid service daily with decorative luxorious towels. Room service provided wine and fruit tray as a gift. The beach chairs and umbrella provided at no charge with the Atlantic membership. New beach towels every other day. Easy flat walk everywhere The balcony facing the morning sun was a nice upgrade. And we loved the massage chair. Car rental and tours booked onsite to include photographs. Leather lounge sofa in entryway. lawn chairs for grass lawn provided for sunbathing. Only suggestion would be to have adult only area for dining and quiet area on beach away from thumping speaker and servers on the beach. Snack bar fries and draft beer were delicious but snack bar workers were very rude, with no greeting.

Well make your own mind up , so arrived on Wednesday 23rd late evening to be dumped outside hotel in road and told hotel is down there not even dropped at door ! Told as got on coach there will be a reps meeting but they never happened No Tui rep in sight No Anwser on their contact number No show , So Thursday,Friday nice but very quiet No entertainment,or activities no kids club,no volley ball (as told there would be when sold )|Saturday got a call from a Greek number so went reception and asked if it was them they said yes it’s to let you know Hotel was closing down For Good on Wednesday at 11am as it has been SOLD out to Marriotts Group hotel !|And said as you leave at 4pm Wednesday you will have to just got to another hotel down the road !|I instantly said No as our Contract is with TUI and would only be advised by them not the hotel (as I feel this would be me breaking the contract)|We then tried to contact Tui on the app well that’s a joke but eventually got them to call us and apparently wasn’t aware of any of this, but agreed we could be collected early on 30th by Bus 27 at 10.25am an then we just wait at airport until 18.40 for our flight !|So we agreed. So now the holiday had been jinxed and everyone in the hotel was down and not happy ,|I used the aap on live chat was told a rep would attend and guess what No rep ever showed up!|Meanwhile EASY JET AND JET 2 was contacting the clients and emailing them even a jet 2 rep came to help and deal with the situation I have photos to prove and met people who said I could use there correspondence if needed.|Then on Sunday they pretty much stripped and removed sunbeds from beach and parasols, in the afternoon we sore a golf cart thing removing kitchen items by the load full! Sunday Monday Tuesday the food supply got worse with limited selection, no labels put above food anymore, food looked to be reused as lunch dinner came hard bread rolls no butter ect|My wife went to the bar on Monday and was told sorry we have No drinks as have ran out, so was now on limited options.|Forgot to mention we had a bed also missing slates ! 3 in a row to a large hole we have photos to prove|So Tuesday evening came we went down for dinner to find soggy chips with squirting cheese on classed as French fries I was told but clearly a cover up of re heated lunch along with no bread and limp looking salad , then the best bit cups and glasses cutlery was being boxed up and taken away yes not even a cup to put my tea or coffee in , with only about 20 glasses left available photos to prove,|Wednesday morning breakfast well limited to say the least my wife said what have you got there !! It was what was left , Beans 2x bits of cheese ,a few apricots and a coffee in a small glass,|So 10.25 came when our arranged. Transfer came yes Bus 27 only to be told No you can’t get on! As not on list so after a bit on arguing we did get on being taken to the airport where we had to buy our own lunch (even tho we was still technically all inclusive till 4pm but needed to eat, Flight where on time so can’t fault the Dreamliner schedule very good .|Reported all this to local Tui at westwoodcross Margate but told we have to log complaints on the website which we did but as of today still no reply yet I already know easy jet have dealt with there’s already|Thanks Tui for a great holiday Daughter is pretty upset and still worked up as our only holiday this year meanwhile money spent on a wasted break away|So to this day still never got to see or speak to a Tui rep and no customer service contact |Tui should buck up there customer service as the only message I got while the on the app read I understand your frustration!! Well make up your own mind am I in the wrong Tui Atlantica Kolymbia...

We've just got back from Atlantica Kolymbia Beach after staying there for 9 nights.|With just a few tweaks, based on our experience, this would be a 5/5 rating from us.|We arrived at the hotel at about 2am on Saturday morning, to be greeted by the night manager. He was very pleasant, got us booked in straight away and explained where our rooms were (2 double rooms). Because of the late arrival and bar/restaurant being closed, there were some sandwiches, fruit and water in our fridges.|To sum up our stay, I'll list the positives and negatives.||Positives.|Rooms were clean and tidy and were cleaned daily, with towels changed on request.|Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Nikos and Klement in the bar and the reception staff.|The quality and variety of food served every day was excellent. Usual buffet style self service with hot and cold food, as well as plenty of salads but also with a separate grill, pasta area and freshly made pizzas. Desserts are a little limited but plenty of flavours of ice cream on offer.|Beach towels are collected from the onsite shop and can be exchanged every other day using a card which is stamped. The shop itself is well stocked with plenty of things you might need while you're on holiday or gifts to bring home. Also friendly staff.|Beach is literally next to the snack bar and is clean and tidy (pebbles not sand).|Between 10-6 there is a snack bar near the pool serving all inclusive drinks and food.|The area of the snack bar also doubles as the a la carte restaurant in the evening which you need to book in advance (1 free visit for all inclusive guests). The food and service were excellent at the a la carte restaurant.|In the restaurant, bar and snack bar there are filtered water machines, so cold fresh water whenever you want - a very nice surprise.|The outside areas of the hotel are also well maintained, including the pool area.|Having not been to Rhodes and specifically Kolymbia before, we weren't sure of the surrounding area but there are a few bars and restaurants close by as well as the main area of Kolymbia about 10-15 minutes walk away, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. So location is pretty good.||Negatives.|There is only 1 pool which is fairly small for the size of the hotel, however it was never overcrowded, most likely due to the beach being so close.|Sunbeds on the beach, although part of the hotel cost 7.50 euro each, so 30 euro per day for the four of us.|We were only able to keep 1 room on, for our late departure. I appreciate this depends on how busy the hotel is and can be luck of the draw. However, we could only keep the one room from 11am-2.30pm, and for a cost of 60 euros.|This would not have been too bad but there is no courtesy room at the hotel which was a surprise, again for the size of the hotel.|So after we all got showered and changed and checked out, we were waiting from 2.30pm until our pick up at 8.30pm. We sat in the bar and played cards for most of this time. Not too bad with two older teenagers but probably not great if you've got smaller children.|The only alternative suggested to us, was to have a shower at the side of the pool (cold water) and get dressed in the toilets downstairs from reception.||Overall, a lot more positives than negatives but the lack of use of a courtesy room meant we felt a bit trapped inside for the last 6 hours, not wanting to put sun cream on to be able to go outside and then not be able to have a shower before going to the airport.||I would definitely recommend Kolymbia Beach and if you have an earlier flight home, the main down side to our holiday wouldn't...

We have just got back and it was a lovely hotel, great views and never once had any problem getting a sunbed at either the pool or beach (regardless of what time of day you turn up) We had a family room which was great and really spacious. There are no English channels on the TV. If you are looking for a hotel with lots of entertainment this is not going to be the hotel for you. The main tour operator for this hotel is an italian one. There are lots of Italian reps about, they make a big fuss of Italian guests but nobody else and don't include any other nationality. There is an amphitheatre there but it's just for Italian guests and all in Italian. At the lobby bar sometimes they had a duo singing but this was not every night. The walk to town is probably a 15 min walk (in the heat it's a little unbearable) so if back at the hotel it could get a little boring if no entertainment. Just a few minor points that we found a little annoying. The all inclusive drinks are served in really small paper cups and the drink is gone in 3 sips. The food was OK, we found something to eat at every mealtime but it was all a bit repetitive but I guess that's what you get on an all inclusive. The fresh pizza was good! The toaster at breakfast time didnt work (ever). They did have a cocktail list included but didn't really find them particularly good, again served in tiny paper cups. If you had wine it never seemed to be chilled (always warm) which in blisteringly hot heat you just want everything to be super cold. The beach bar was nice but the staff there never seemed to be able to crack a smile. We found it quite amusing, it would always be our daily thing to see if we could get them to smile, on one day it was close but we never managed it! The staff at the lobby bar were much nicer and friendlier and smiled when serving you. In particulqr in the evening a very nice waitress would come to your table and ask if you wanted any more drinks which was really nice. On the last day our flight was late in the evening and we were unable to keep our room as the hotel was apparently full but we were advised we could continue to use the hotel facilities and the all inclusive until our coach picked us up so we paid the hotel next door 30 euros for 3 hrs so we could go and change and have a shower. After this we came back and I tried to get a drink at the beach bar (I was still wearing my all inclusive wrist band but Konstantinou looked at me like I was completely crazy and refused to serve me. He spent about 10 mins on a call whilst the queue got bigger and bigger and then came back to me saying he couldnt speak to anyone and still refused to allow me a lemonade and said I would have to go to reception. At this point I just said ' don't worry about it' as was not prepared to walk all the way to reception and back. Wouldnt mind but its not like i hadnt ordered drinks from him everyday and i still had my wristband on!!!! Whilst this was happening my husband had no problem getting snacks for us in the other queue šŸ™„. Got to be honest, this was really annoying and unnecessary especially as I explained everything to him (not great). Would I go back again? Probably not but having said that we did have a nice holiday and we thank all of the staff that were helpful and did manage to crack a smile. The staff in the restaurants were also very god and worked really hard to...
