St Paul Beach Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Can't comment on the food as we did not actually have the opportunity to dine here due to the disgusting behaviour displayed by one of the wait staff. We visited as a group of 2 for drinks and sat on an empty table as there was neither a sign to wait to be seated or someone walking around to seat people. The table we sat at was not reserved however, one of the young male waiters came over to us and said "this is a 5 person table" and walked away. Before we even had a chance to get up from the table to move, he turned around and said "can't you count, you're only 2 people, don't sit there". We moved over to a smaller table which seated 4 as there were no other tables just for 2 people and asked the waiter if we could sit there. He used his hands to gesture to look at ourselves and look at how many seats at the table "you're 2 people" so we assumed we were unable to sit there and began to leave. He then said "sit down" in a very rude manner so we left the restaurant as we did not want to continue to be treated with this young man's rude behaviour.

Check you bill because this place is a mess!!!! They make you pay you items multiple times or even someone elses order!!! I sat with my partner at the table and ordered 3 things, after we consumed them my friend group came and we sat together at a bigger table. I even told the waiter that we will join them! The first thing was that the waiter came after half an our that he forgot our order and took it again. After that he forgot to bring my friends food 2 time in a row. When me and my partner went away earlier then my friend group and the the mess started. The waiter told me we cant pay our stuff separately because they joined the PREVIOUS tables account with ours and demanded to pay a total strangers order too if we eanted to leave. After minutes of arguing they finnaly let us pay only our stuff. They argued that issystem doesnt let them split things…. Now my friend called me that he took a photo of their bill and they put on their order our previous order to. We went into the bar and asked the price for the sunbeds which was a steep 40 euros for 2 beds and an umbrella, but being there for just the day we decided to go ahead. We asked the staff member if we could get any bed and he said yes just pick one. So we did. We were laid there for about an hour when another staff member came by the side of our beds and just stared at us. I greeted him and proceeded to get out some money thinking he'd come to collect payment for the day. At that point he abruptly asked us to choose another bed as the ones we were on were now reserved. I pointed out that no signs were on them saying reserved when we arrived and we were told we could take anybed. He didnt seem to care and just told us it was now reserved. We asked which bed we could take as we didn't want to move to another reserved bed with no sign on it to say it was reserved. He said no beds were available now on the front of the beach and we had to go to beds further back. It was at this point that we just decided to leave. Poor communication, poor attitude. Nice...
