Απαράδεκτη συμπεριφορά από μια σερβιτόρα και στη συνέχεια από τον υπεύθυνο του καταστήματος. Δεν σεβάστηκαν υπερήλικες, Πένθος, μια ειδική κατάσταση, τίποτα...!!! Μετά το μνημόσυνο του πεθερου μου Δευτερα πρωι 09:00, πήγαμε μια παρέα 20 ατόμων, όπου δε γίναμε αποδεκτοί καθώς χαλούσαν τη μοστρα οι μανάδες και οι πατεράδες μας που ήταν μεγάλης ηλικίας μπροστά και δεξιά στην είσοδο του μαγαζιου. Όταν ζήτησα τον υπευθυνο λέγοντας του ότι είμαστε μια παρεα και ερχόμαστε απο μνημόσυνο οποτε καθίσαμε εκεί όλοι μαζι... δεν του αρεσε το ύφος μου και δεν ήταν υπάλληλος μου όπως είπε... ώστε να μας τακτοποιησει... Μας έδωσε δε "εντολη" να σηκωθούμε από εκεί και να πάμε πίσω όπου βρούμε !!! Φυσικά αποχωρησαμε συσσωμοι αφού νιώσαμε ανεπιθύμητοι και πήγαμε στο γειτονικό Costa Mare, πάνω στο κύμα, όπου μας αντιμετώπισαν όπως αρμόζει σε πελάτες. Προσωπικά τέτοια προσβολή και αγένεια δεν έχω ξαναδεχτει σε κανένα κατάστημα πότε στα 53 χρόνια μου !!! Ήμουν τακτικός πελάτης στο εν λόγω κατάστημα στο οποίο δεν θα ξαναπάω ποτέ. Ντροπή τους.

A Dismal Experience at Cake Boxé : Lack of Compassion and Decency

My recent visit to Cake Box was deeply disappointing and disturbing, marking it as a place I would strongly advise against visiting. The behavior exhibited by both the waitress and the manager was not just unprofessional; it was downright rude and insensitive.

Our group of 20, comprising both young individuals and seniors, came from a memorial service, seeking a quiet place to commune and reflect. However, instead of finding solace and a warm welcome, we were met with disdain and an unwarranted attitude from the staff. The waitress and the manager made it painfully clear that they deemed our presence as tarnishing the café's "image", citing that our group, especially the elderly, were not the kind of clientele they wanted.

Their behavior was not only humiliating but also discriminatory, showcasing a blatant disregard for basic human decency and empathy. To turn away patrons simply because they came from a memorial service is appalling and speaks volumes about the lack of compassion and respect at tat cafe.

In an industry where hospitality should be paramount, Cake Box's staff displayed none. It's disheartening to see a local business show such insensitivity and lack of humanity. I urge everyone to rethink supporting an establishment that values superficial appearances over genuine human connection...

We popped in here a couple of times during our trip to Rhodes. It seems a popular spot and I was drawn to it given the name. They have a good selection of cakes, pastries and sandwiches. It is worth mentioning that the staff behind the counter weren’t overly friendly. There was one woman who was particularly miserable. The cakes and drinks we ordered were very good.
