We spend our first time in Crete in Sitia and all of these restaurants along the promenade seems owned by locals. Really nice scenery. We ordered the first time (yes you read that right.. we stayed multiple times in the same trip, unusual for us but I have to tell you this place is worth it!) … so we ordered the first time The mushrooms as appetizers And the mushroom risotto with truffle Both so amazing. The mushrooms come in an olive oil lemon sauce and they tasted sooo good! Never had such amazing mushrooms. The risotto was also very good balanced not to much truffle not overcooked. The second time we had the lion fish and the chicken.. unbelievable!! Lion fish taste amazing. I felt sorry that when we got our food that we thought that is kinda a fish nugget. Don’t judge by the look.. you will never have such good nuggets 😅😂 The lion fish comes with aioli sauce which is homemade and leveled this dish perfectly up. Chicken was not a teeny tiny bit dry! Service was very good even when it was very crowded (not a miracle for us…) We felt totally calmed relaxed pleased and welcomed. Is that not all what...

We enjoyed a great appetizer of cheese and spinach filled pastries that I liked and Michele was neutral on. We also had a large vegetarian pizza that we both thought was very good. When we got a bit of chili oil to go with it, it got even better and while we planned to have leftover - we finished the entire thing.
After our meal, we were treated to some sliced apples and oranges along with a fantastic chocolate filled...
Read moreAfter reading reviews, decided to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Right at the beach with a perfect view and great if you have kids. Portions are generous and reasonable prices, about 10-15 Euros for most things. Pizza dough is fluffy and soft. Taste was good. Salads come in a big bowl, costing around 8 Euros. Highlight for me was the Rizoni squid ink pasta, can come with risotto as well. First time having that particular taste. I’ve had black risotto in Italy before and this taste was different. Chili oil was available. Attentive personell- Olympia was very helpful and attentive. She had a great personality and ended our night with a shot of maki. Totally...
