Would love to give this taverna a better score as the food was nice, and the staff welcoming. But to be honest I can't remember much about it as I was eating so fast I just needed to get out. That's because it is in direct sunlight all evening until the sun goes down and if you are there in July / August it's unbearable to sit and eat in the intense heat. Some well placed sun shades would solve the issue and make this a far more enjoyable experience and I suspect, make it much busier in the early evening. Unfortunately the shades that are there are not set up to deflect that early evening sun.

We have to eat early (7:30pm) because of the kids but if you can wait until the sun sets this is an amazing spot and I recommend it...as I say the food was nice.

If the owner sets up some directional shading for the early evening I would happily go back and...

We arrived at the right time and the restaurant appeared to be open. We sat down and another family arrived shortly after us. Drinks were served and everything seemed normal at first.

But then the waiter never came back. After some time we started wondering where the menu was. I went inside to ask and got a surprising answer: “There’s no food today.”

When I asked why they were open he said something like “Well not really today maybe later 99 percent.”

It was all very confusing. Why serve drinks without telling guests there is no food available That kind of information should be shared right away. Apparently the chef did not show up or something like that.

We paid for our drinks and left still hungry and went to another restaurant. Very strange experience and a shame because the place actually...

What a wonderful place perched right at the waters edge. This was the first place we ate in Corfu. We had just got into Greece so we were not acclimated to the Greek culture yet. We were hungry at a "normal" American time and wanted to eat. We spotted this little place and decided to stop in. The owner greeted us asking if we were there for drinks, we told him no that we were all hungry. Within a split second, he took two tables (one he had reserved for a later guest) and set them up for us right at the waters edge. The food came out and everyone of us loved every bite! What a great place to eat at sunset. Highly...

This is one of the best places to eat in Corfu! Had the most loveliest experience here. The staff greeted us with open arms to their restaurant with amazing service. We had eggplant salad and bread for starters, this was really tasty. The staff recommended us the fish and we took the bream to share. It was enough for two it came with a salad and fries on the side. Really good meal if I could say had the whole package. This costed around 50-60€. We had a great time enjoying our wine, gazing the beautiful sunset and hearing local music. Highly recommend if you are around the area, you won’t be disappointed!
