LOS Art Yacht Club — Restaurant in Municipality of Symi

Staying in apartment down the way so I sat down in afternoon for a quick bite to eat. They put a bowl of nuts on the table and a stream of tiny ants came out the bowl and covered the table lol, climbing all over our drinks , within 30 secs the table was covered. They did wipe them away but it wasn’t a good start.

Ordered calamari, it wasn’t fresh at all could tell it came out of freezer. Only bad meal I’ve ever had in Greece and been too various mainland places and 4 islands now.

And they play loud music late into the night even though the place is empty. Not good for the people who come too Symi for a bit of peace. Completely ruins the atmosphere of the island.

I can't tell anything about the quality of food in this place, because we couldn't even make an order for like 15 minutes. We were ready to wait a while, but after the barmen brought us white wine instead of red, we just left. It seems like the staff doesn't care about their customers at all. There was the only waiter, who was screaming in the street, luring people into this place. We were really hungry and tired and didn't want to look for another place to eat, so we decided to have lunch in this restaurant - that was a huge mistake. 14 days on the island of Rhodes, 2 on the island of Symi, and this is by far the worst place where I've been. The staff is rude, the prices are higher than average, and they are outright dishonest. We asked for an ice coffee and a Greek coffee; first the waiter didn't know what an ice coffee is, and proposed a frappe instead. Then we were served and charged a double Greek coffee, when I had asked a simple Greek coffee. When we complained about it, we were told that's the only thing they have for Greek coffee (which is blatantly false, since it's just more water).
