Cafe Baraka — Restaurant in Municipality of Thessaloniki

Baraka is beautiful and peaceful place and like heaven for coffee lovers with amazing food and friendly staff, in a very good location in Thessaloniki. We had Greek salad, fried eggs, baked potatoes, chicken salad, chicken sandwich, juice and coffee…I really can’t say what was better. We ate as a family so we tried from each other’s plates 😅…

However my favourite is Greek salad (made by Greek in Greece omg!!!), so fresh and delicious, and also because even my son took olives and cheese from my bowl, and he is totally not salad person. 👏 Pastry rolls/rings were exceptional.

A peaceful place to have a drink and or a meal. I loved the care they take for the detail in decoration as well as the preparation and presentation of food. The greenery around, the view over to the Roman era palace’s ruins, as well as the hidden, away from the city’s noises location create an atmosphere reminiscent the time-traveling feeling of a historical novel. Baraka is one of the better places around the center of Thessaloniki if you are looking for good quality beverages drinks and coffees and the opportunity to enjoy it by the Byzantine palace remains that gives the impression that you are not in center of the town. It also extends its catalog beyond the ordinary offerings and you can find traditional and oriental drinks. There are some very interesting choices for quick food.
