Upon entering IL Forno, we were immediately impressed by the friendly atmosphere and well-maintained space. The venue was clean and aesthetically pleasing, with a warm and welcoming ambiance. The waiter greeted us with a smile and escorted us to our table with courtesy and professionalism.

First time I gave an order 1 bolognese and 2 pizza slices. They accepted and delivered in time. Second time around 2 days after I tried to do the same order and the man on the phone told me that they don't deliver slices of pizza and we agreed to bring me only the pasta. Third time in tried to order a pizza and 2 bolognese and they told me that the delivery was not open yet. I told the man on the phone that its alright and I will come and pick it up myself. I called before going to ask if the order was ready and the man on the phone replied "sir the delivery is not open yet". Seems like they didn't hear that I told them that I would come and pick it up although it was a full sentence and not a single word by itself. Fourth time I ordered the store was out of pasta at 8:30pm. Fifth time I ordered at 2:30pm they told me that the delivery boy had a delivery at oia. Strangely enough I got out at my balcony to smoke and saw their delivery boy in less than 10 minutes without rush. (Oia from kamari is about 30 minutes minimum to go and return) Sixth time I ordered 2:45pm. They accepted the order but right after we hang up they called me to say that they were sorry but their delivery boy had to deliver at imerovigli and for my own convenience to go and pick it up by myself. Since I was relying on their order and didn't have time to pick up something myself I came to work without eating. Not sure if this experience...

At this point in my trip to Greece, I had eaten so much meat, all delicious and traditional Greek starters. On my first night in Kamari Beach, I just craved simple good pizza. My partner quipped that we were close enough to Italy, and then she recalled when, on a college travel budget in Italy, she only ate pizza Previously living in the PA, NJ, and NY area, I so wanted a true Italian slice. Bottom line. Best pizza I’ve had since Penn Pizza off Broadway and Raspberry in Bethlehem, PA. (No offense NJ and NY). The crust was fire-grilled crisp, the sauce was light with sweet flavor, the toppings were fresh and the cheese still there but not overpowering all the flavors. And we did eat the Greek Pizza, in Greece. Only reason for 4 stars, we didn’t know before getting the check that it was cash only. That being said, I could’ve pointed out the credit card logos on the door, but I like cash and understand the business of travel...and, we had enough cash. Lol!
