Authentic Greek restaurant close to the main square and away from the crowded beach strip. We have already been here three times and it has been a good experience every time. The first night we had meze dishes. The waiter was kind to tell us when we had ordered enough. 4-5 dishes are recommended. The other evenings we had some starters and a main course. And there's a complimentary dessert every evening together with some homemade sweet wine wich is so tasty. I can especially recommend the boiled octopus and the sausage as a starter, and the rigatoni and grilled meatballs as a main. The prices are very affordable and fair compared to almost every other restaurants we have visited here in Santorini. Around 40 euros for two persons with both beverages and starters. And the service are quick and kind. Remember to book a table because this place is very popular and they don't have that many tables, maybe around 12 outside and the same inside. Read moreWe came here on our last night of our stay at Kamari, we were so gutted we discovered this place so late! Their octopus was the best we tried in our stay at Santorini. I highly recommend their boiled octopus, so soft and not chewy like a lot of grilled octopus you can get in Santorini.
Their marinated anchovies were also another one of our favourites and their deep fried potatoes too that accompanied the pork schnitzel. We found the cabbage roll comforting food but not for us- the sauce tasted like a yogurt base sauce and we were prefer a bechamel type sauce. All in all, we the food was lovely, and we got served 1 type of spirit and 1 wine to try and also received a nice dessert to round up the dinner. Quick and friendly service- highly...
Read moreChronis and Athena were wonderful in helping us decide to share Mezes (traditional Greek dishes). We made a YouTube video about Santorini and how we found To Pinakio. We were so happy that we decided to visit because the food was great, ambiance was wonderful and service exceptional! We shared a bunch of Mezes for dinner, Tomatokeftedes, Sausages with feta, cabbage rolls, tomato salad. Everything was delicious. The parking was relatively easy to find on the street, we guess that depends on the time of year. It’s great to take a stroll along the waterfront after the meal. We loved Kamari and forever thankful to have met Chronis and...
