SCAMMERS
They have a restaurant down in the port, the first time we ate there and the food was amazing.
The second time when we went there, they were closing so they sent us to their Cafe Irini restaurant for the food, saying that the food is the same.
When we went inside they gave us a nice table, and then gave us the menus, we wanted to order just a full chicken with some fries, but they were forcing us to get a different plate. And that plate includes just a half chicken, one chicken fillet, 2 chicken skewers (not the gyros but the one in the sticks) and some potatoes, which were full of vinegar. And this little food for 80 EUROS. And they pushed to buy that, telling us they kept that beside for us, as the restaurant from down the port called them to keep the food for us, when we never asked to do that.
We were supposed to eat in but for some reason we had to leave so we asked for taking away so they gave us 10 Euros of discount.
When we reached home and open the packages we were so disappointed about the amount of food, which they were saying would be enough for 4 people was not enough for even 2. Apart the quantity, despite being disappointed we decided to eat just to find out that the half chicken was dry like they have been there for days. The chicken fillet was hard like stone and the souvlaki (chicken sticks) were RAW.
Do not waste your money there, there are much many restaurants for cheaper price with...
Read moreFirst time visiting Greece, the islands had been an amazing experience until we came here on our seventh day to view the sunset. So far I had felt very welcomed in all the places we stopped, visited and dined, or just had drinks at except here. The older man who is seated us kept insisting my wife should have an alcoholic drink after we told him numerous times that she doesn’t drink alcohol, and his attitude changed completely when we did not want to order any food. He became very short and disrespectful. When I asked him a question about the name of the caldera that we were overlooking as we sat he stated “I only have two more words for you”, as if I was wasting his time and not a guest in his restaurant. I’ve traveled to multiple countries throughout Europe, and I’ve never been treated that way. Save your money and find a place that is more genuinely interested , welcoming and serving you as all the...
Read moreOur dinner at this restaurant was a major DISAPPOINTMENT. As a Spanish-Italian couple, we take our food, very seriously. The waiter initially recommended what sounded like a fantastic dish – fresh fish cooked in the oven. However, what we were served was far from fresh. The fish arrived cold, dry, and clearly overcooked, as if it had been prepared hours in advance.
When we tried to bring this up with another waiter, as the initial one disappeared the response was even more frustrating. Instead of telling us something, he simply handed us the bill with no explanation, apology, or attempt to make things right.
The experience felt less like a bad meal and more like a complete disregard for quality and customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone – it wasn’t just a poorly cooked fish, it felt...
