Εστιατόριο Λίμνης — Restaurant in Municipality of Vari - Voula - Vouliagmeni

Lake as a nature area is beautiful and worth to see. But I have to warn you about area crew and service people. I think those people have to follow some absurd rules and they are making such scandalous problems to visitors. For me it’s the worst behavior towards tourists and clients that I saw in all Greece.

I think that area personnel is focused too much on walkie talkie conversations between themselves instead of simple using of their brains. They ask people to move their sunbeds from shadow into middle of the sun at noon because 1 meter of path between sunbeds it’s not enough… The limit of sunbeds around the lake is very poor and not all of them got their own umbrella so you have to burn on the sun only because some lady want to feel necessary. Sometime another personnel person is coming and asking you to move from the sun to the shadow just to make some other space bigger. Complete abused! And I have to add that you’re paying 18€ per person to enter this space…

We spent a great time here but behavior of those people is driving me crazy. I have to add that this behavior have nothing in common with COVID restrictions or creating a path space for people with disabilities - ON THE CONTRARY. They just want to have sunbeds in their perfect order and health or comfort of clients is less important than this.

I hope that some responsible person will read that and will change something with it...

I used to LOVE coming here as my favourite place to enjoy the lake, swim, relax, and eat and drink despite the expensive entrance. The restaurant cafe quality of food was always rather bad, but now the entrance has risen, the cost is INSANELY EXPENSIVE of snacks, even bottled water and soft drinks, and the food at the restaurant/ cafe is AWFUL, uncaring, small portioned, and HORRENDOUSLY expensive for what you get. Brought my own bottle of water and fruit, and noticed that the staff were all looking out for people with the same thought. MAYBE IF THE PRICES WEREN’T CRIMINALLY HIGH, you wouldn’t have the problem of people having to bring and hide their own drinks and food to enjoy a day at a natural lake!!! It’s such a shame....

This place is beautiful, warm lake with fish that feeds of your dead skin - a great experience! But.. The service in total was lacking, we were asked to move to another table too order good, only to wait for 30 minutes to get the message that now the kitchen was closed until 20:00. At 20:00 we were told to wait 30-40 minutes before we could sit at the restaurant and when we finally got the food it was extremely small sizes (although very good). Not child friendly, with no kids-meny at all.. Our waiter for the evening saved the night slightly. I would recommend this location highly, and the late night view was amazing - but because of the small sizes and confused staff I'll give it...
