We decided on a whim one Sunday to visit this beachside restaurant—and what a lovely surprise it was. From the main road, it’s hardly visible, but once you walk down a set of stairs, you find yourself practically on the sea. The restaurant sits right beside the water and gives off strong Cycladic beach vibes—it really feels like you’re dining somewhere in the islands. The food was great, with a creative spin on a classic seafood taverna menu. We started with a ceviche, which I absolutely loved—fresh, zesty, and perfectly balanced. The Greek salad had a twist, served with a kind of tomato sauce that really worked. The calamari was delicious, the sea urchin pasta was a bit lemony but still enjoyable, and the prawn orzo was decent too. For dessert, we had a fantastic orange pie—moist, fragrant, and full of flavour. The total for two people came to €220 with just two glasses of wine, which is quite steep by Greek standards. Still, for the beachfront location and island-style ambience, it felt like a treat well worth it.

Chose this restaurant based on the usual overall rating, pics and ££ costing. It seems like it’s changed hands since though. Restaurant and location are both great and the staff, really attentive without being overbearing. The food however was ridiculously expensive, which I don’t mind as long as it’s worth it… but it wasn’t. The octopus was far too tough and rubbery. I’ve had far better around for less than half of the price. The tuna tartar was superb though, it must be said. All in all, 2 beers, some bread and 4 appetisers with a tip cost €90! It was obscenely expensive for the quality and unusually small portions compared to Greek standards. Wouldn’t go back.

The restaurant was packed on Saturday evening. Although we called and visited in person in order to secure a table at an area we wanted we were thrown away at the back of the restaurant. We had to argue and wait mor 30 minutes to get an acceptable table. Why do we call and visit when we got what we do not want? Food was delicious, lobster pasta, tuna sashimi, grilled octopus, steamed mussels. Would not recommend the tuna Kebab. Wines are 50-100€+ per bottle. The service is ok for a packed restaurant. Fine dining in a very loudy party like atmosphere. You can not hear the person next to you. Expect to pay 100€+ per person.

We were there recently the location, the view and the decor of the restaurant are amazing. The food and menu has definitely improved and everything was very presentable and tasteful. Still regardless of the positives mentioned above the overall rating is low because the restaurant is very poorly managed and this has a negative impact on the overall experience. The night we went the staff were arguing between them and with the supervisor without caring about the customers. This shows that they have a superficial politeness when they greet you that dissappears in a split second because they lack professional training. Professional traing is expected by customers when they visit high end restaurants as is AKTI. Regarding the music it is important to inform that it is very loud and people can't communicate without shouting something not expected when you have a dinner celebration of 10 pax booked at 9.30pm. The most annoying though was that music played was purely Arabic. When we complained they obviously didn't do much as this continued for more than an hour. We love all kinds of music dont get me wrong BUT an hour and a half of arabic dancing music playing loudly is too much. Maybe management needs to better understand and communicate what they are offering and what is their target group because it's not Greek or international for sure. Concluding it's sad to see such places that are so unique and so Greek to be so...

This is the worst restaurant i have visited in Greece. I will not recommend to anyone due to the bad service provided by the waiters despite that it is considered as a very expensive restaurant. I have made the reservation and requested a table in the smokers area. they confirmed indoor availability since restaurant is an open area. When we arrived they informed us that restaurant is full and we have to sit outside under the small umbrellas. We have requested to sit under the shadow of the pergola due to the heat and sun. Unfortunately they placed us between two families with small babies where we were obliged not to smoke due to the presence of kids in front. We have ordered a Greek salad and some appetisers as starters. They brought the octopus and the shrimps as well as the meat balls before the salad. We asked about the salad they brought us the main dish after 2 minutes. We have ordered raw fish they brought us tarama. I just want to point out that with a very expensive restaurant with 100 euro per person at least they should have the right number of waiters for a restaurant who should serve 100 persons at the same time and not 4 waiters for the whole restaurant. I do not recommend this restaurant and will give a big zero. Thanks not to visit during your stay in Greece. They are destroying the reputation of the greek cuisines with their...

Ridiculously overpriced. We were a party of three and one had an oyster and then prawn pasta - about an hour later she then started being sick and was clammy all over. I asked our waiter if it was possible to simply take her main course off the cost of the menu as she had to leave early due to potential food poisoning. He immediately became defensive and rude. The lady at the entrance was nice but the manager was also rude. They also made us leave after two hours when we were in the middle of our drinks, as they bluntly said ‘time’s up’. Apparently they needed the table but no one sat at it for the next 40 minutes. We sat on a bench outside to finish our drinks. The view is beautiful and the music was good, but the food was very average for the price, with small portions. ‘Classic cocktails’ listed on the menu as costing €15, but when we asked for one espresso martini we were told to order from the signature list instead. Staff nice until we politely asked for one main course to be taken off (€25 from a €263 bill), and then they...
