This place was really about a 4.5. No option for that though. The customer service was excellent and the ambience of the restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean was wonderful. Our waiter was in a great mood and full of life, yet not annoying or overly-hanging around. It was a peaceful dining experience for lunch. As far as the food goes, the appetizers were free(which we didn’t find out until the end) along with my glass of house red wine. We ordered a classic Greek salad, fried calamari, and grilled skewered salmon. Amazingly fresh produce was used in salad, perfect blend of the elements. :-) the calamari was the best I’ve ever had, and that’s saying something as lived on multiple coasts and currently live in Marseille, France. The salmon was one of the best I’ve ever had. My wife said it was her favorite of all time. The lunch was followed up with 2 cappuccinos a complimentary chocolate mousse biscotti dessert and frozen lemon sorbet. Overall, bravo for a wonderful restaurant with beautiful people and gorgeous surroundings. Can’t wait until the next time we’re in the Athens area.

We visited this restaurant on a weekday around 7 PM. It was sunny and warm outside, and we really wanted to sit outside, but all the tables were full. A very kind gentleman at the door told us we could wait for one to open up—and it was totally worth the wait! The food was absolutely amazing. The salmon tartar is a must-try—it was fresh and full of flavor. For mains, we had the linguini with shrimp and garlic, and fried calamari with fried potatoes. Everything was delicious. We also tried the little pies with mizithra cheese and honey as a starter, and they were incredible too. Service was friendly and welcoming. If I had to point out one thing to improve, it would be how long it took for someone to take our order for food (about 30 minutes). But to be fair, they brought us drinks right away, and sipping wine while watching the sunset made the wait feel just fine. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the vibe!

A Sunset Dinner to Remember at Sardelaki Me Thea 🌅🐟 If you’re in Athens and looking for an unforgettable dining experience by the sea, Sardelaki Me Thea is an absolute must. Located right next to the water, this spot offers what might just be the most breathtaking sunset view of your life – truly magical. The food? Simply perfect. I ordered the fried sea bass fillet, fried calamari, and the signature Sardelaki salad for the main course, along with marinated anchovies and tzatziki as starters. Every dish was full of flavor and prepared with care – fresh, light, and absolutely delicious. Despite the place being quite busy, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the food arrived very quickly – no long wait at all, which was a pleasant surprise. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Athens. Come for the food, stay for the view – and leave with a memory you’ll never forget. 🌊✨

Immediately upon arrival, my partner and I were bombarded by a blonde waitress accompanied by a male server carrying a tray of starters. That in itself was not the issue. The problem was the urgency with which we were pushed to place an order before we had even had a chance to properly look at the menu.

We reluctantly chose a starter under pressure, even though it wasn’t something I had planned to order. Instead of stopping there, the servers continued pressing us for more items while I was still trying to read through the menu. Ma’am, we are two individuals, not a family of four. Please allow at least a few minutes for guests to decide on their meal without feeling coerced.

This interaction left such a bad impression that it ruined my appetite. In the end, we only ordered a starter, pasta, fried fish, and fries. I had intended to order a whole fish as well, but after the experience, I no longer wanted to continue.

There is a right way to approach customers, and unfortunately, this was not it. The overly aggressive service overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable meal.

Of Note: Shrimp was overcooked. The fried fish was fried nicely. I wish I could...

Sardelaki me Thea is a seafood restaurant that left me absolutely blown away. It's easily one of the best seafood restaurants I've ever been to, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome from the staff.

The menu was filled with mouth-watering seafood dishes, and I was particularly impressed with the grilled calamari, 'gavros marinatos' and shrimp saganaki. The calamari was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful with a nice smoky taste from the grill. The 'gavros marinatos', or marinated anchovies, were incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. And the shrimp saganaki, cooked in a tomato and feta sauce, was absolutely divine.

To top it off, the view from the restaurant was simply breathtaking. Sardelaki me Thea is situated right on the waterfront, and the view of the sea was simply stunning. I couldn't have asked for a better location to enjoy my meal.

Overall, I would highly recommend Sardelaki me Thea to anyone looking for a fantastic seafood dining experience. The food was exceptional, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the view was simply...
