Ora does a great job of being the hotel's all day restaurant. The breakfast (which offers both a la carte eggs, waffles, pancakes, shakshuka and a large buffet with fresh fruits, meats, breads, yogurts) is first class on level with what you would expect from a hotel at this price point (anything you would find at a Waldorf Astoria buffet you will find here). Lunch and dinner have the same menu (room service menu is a sub set of this menu) and features all of the standards you would expect (steak, burger, pasta, fish) with some more interesting local / Mediterranean flavors and choices. Anything you order will be delicious and all of the signature cocktails are interesting and will satisfy but the service is extremely slow and unfortunately surprisingly bad - we visited 7 times over 5 days and never had a seating without at least one item being ordered not showing up for 10-20 minutes and then us having to reorder that thing (if we still wanted it at that point). As we are a family the saving grace is that our daughter could run around the pool and beach while we waited for courses to arrive but definitely expect a very laid back pace and if you don't get what you ordered when a course comes, be ready to chase...
Read moreThe food is good but definitely not exceptional or food that you have, never , tasted before anywhere else. Thus “it is not ONE & ONLY” as it mentions. The service of the restaurant was quite exceptional though the “parking” service was bloody bad( the low grade of service corresponds to that). We have been told that we don’t have to pay for parking or else the client can pay what wishes for. Almost, all the clients of the same table gave very good tip to the “young parking boys” in order to have their parked cars back, except one of our friends. HOW DISAPPOINTING(!!!) -for such hotel -to hear that they were ignoring that person & keeping him waiting without bringing his car and the young boys with his key were talking to one another neglecting the client & thus FORCING him to give a good tip in order to give him back his car! To be noted that there is no free place for one -not resident of the resort- to park the car as happens at “FOUR SEASONS HOTEL” - that is of...
Read moreWe had a very pleasant dining experience at this beachfront restaurant. I really enjoyed the details of the art de la table as well as the friendly and well informed staff. The dishes were tasty and simple which is a good thing as within the development of the Athenian Riviera all the local tastes and simplicity is losing unfortunately its presence. I want to point out that the desserts available in the menu are a bit out of the concept in my opinion. Greece has so many incredible recipes when it comes to sweet options so I was bit disappointed when the selection of desserts were Italian recipes. Overall, the ambiance is very nice especially the live music adds to a touch of elegance and creates a * atmosphere. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The main building / lobby , the decoration and the lamps hanging from the ceiling are not of my taste as it looks like a...
