Taverna Hani — Restaurant in Parga Municipality

I was in this restaurant 2 times during my vacation in Parga with my wife. I was looking for homemade meals and something that is not fish.....Since in this Mediterranean town is not too hard to get a solid sea food plate. First time a had a beef in a tomato sauce.... Totally amazing!!!! Second time I had a beef meatballs.... Reason I had meatballs was that many cooks have a tendency to cook mince meat with combination with bread crumbs or soya..... But to my huge suprise this was pure, 100% meat and nothing but the meat!!!!! I have only Best of words for the cook, the owners mom....

This was recommended as one of the best 5 restaurants in old Parga city, I wasn’t sure I wanted to try since all the shops around are very touristy and usually those kinds of places have overpriced mediocre food, but this was not the case for this one ! Every single plate was cooked to perfection, very authentic flavors, very clean and generous portions. Well what can I say.... this place is just the best. Oven baked lamb amazing, hospitality amazing, quaint setting with traditional home cooked food. Tasos is so welcoming... he made the evening with his chatting and genuine interest in our Parga experience.
