We were fortunate to get a table at Castello without any wait at 7 PM – and what followed was an evening full of delightful surprises and memorable flavors. We began with two stunning appetizers: a “Surprise Watermelon” topped with creamy feta cheese, fresh rosemary, crunchy almond flakes, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar – a refreshingly bold and well-balanced dish. Alongside it, the Smoked Trout with avocado purée, marinated cucumber, and onions was a beautifully crafted starter with real depth and finesse – a dish that alone would be reason enough to return. For the main course, we had the Scaloppine Boscaiola, the Regional Meat Cuts, and the Salmon Fillet. The Boscaiola – tender veal medallions cooked with earthy porcini mushrooms, a hint of chili, and a creamy white wine sauce – was simply divine. The Regional Meat Cuts, served with a vibrant chimichurri sauce, were perfectly cooked – juicy, tender, and full of character. The salmon fillet was enjoyable, though not quite as remarkable as the other standout dishes. The wine list is solid, offering a great selection of both Greek and international wines. We opted for the house Merlot, which paired nicely with the meat dishes, though it was clear the wine list holds several intriguing bottles we hope to explore on a future visit. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, contributing to the relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Nestled in the charming backstreets of Parga, Castello isn’t the cheapest restaurant in town – but it is undoubtedly worth it. This is a place where flavors shine, ingredients are respected, and guests are treated with heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to, ever. No exaggeration, the food is absolutely divine and the service was fantastic. We were recommended wine pairings with each course and the portions were generous. The flavors, fresh ingredients and presentation were all top notch. We are probably going to visit a second time while in Parga as it was so good!

Everything was perfect. The approach of the staff is very pleasant and nice. The food is the best in Parga. We have visited many restaurants and taverns, but the quality is nowhere near this restaurant. In the end, we each received a glass of expensive brandy and a linuncello as a gift. We recommend it to everyone.

Been to this restaurant several times over the years as we love Parga as a holiday destination. Castello has always been a must eat place offering great quality food, good pricing and setting.

However this year we have visited and the old menu has been changed, a lot of the choice has gone along with the little touches always offered in the past.

The prices have slightly increased however the portion sizes have been half and we left after eating all the food and were hungry.

Also no children's menu offered and the food given to the children seemed like it was hard work and was just thrown together.

All in all a good place but menu and portions really have...

The food is very, very good. It has complexity and interesting variations. Even in something as simple as an ceviche. The service is inattentive and does not manage to control and service on the two sides of the restaurant. You will have multiple servers at your table at one time, but later they disappear leaving you alone. If you want to order something more, you will have a hard time without leaving your seat. A plus for linen...
