There are maybe three places on the whole island serving a good pizza - after two years living here all the year long I've made my testing tour. This one is in the three. It's not a fancy restaurant to spend 200 euros on wine - so don't come if you're looking for that. It's a chill place located in a central but quite (in the evening) area serving great pizza. I personally love the pizza al trancio (the thick slices), but their classic marinara is also very good. I was reading a review by a "local guide" saying the quality of tomato is poor. Like from a can. I guess you don't know how pizza is made, how the best pizza is made. Even the best pizza in the world (pizza da Michele in Napoli) is made with tomatoes from a can. But you need to buy the best brand, which is totally the case in this pizzeria - one of the best tomato brands directly from Italy. That's also one of the reasons why the marinara is so good. PS: remember that two pizzas only are protected as UNESCO cultural heritage, Margherita...
Read moreI don't usually wright reviews unless something is very good, or very bad. I don't want to be rude but rather I want for one time to help someone hear a real review and maybe improve (or not) You can't possibly in 2024 serve Italian pizza and use canned mushrooms. This alone destroy the whole pizza , the canned taste from preservatives is sour and unpleasant. The tomato sauce tasted also sour and like a box sauce from the supermarket, with no taste whatsoever, so I doubt it was fresh either. (not even some herbs). The prosciutto had a bad aftertaste (almost like spam), and the crust was the only "ok" thing. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because I only tried the pizza. I was so exited to see a new pizza place open and hoped for something good but it's a No for me. It's really easy to fix these things and I...
Read moreThe worst street pizza I have ever eaten. I got the mozzarella with cherry tomatoes and it was extremely hard to chew and dry, like a pizza you have made 2 days before. Definitely, the pizza was not fresh. I bought it for 5 euros the slice but even if I could get it for free, I wouldn't...
