We had one of the best experiences in Greece 🇬🇷 Eleni the owner was very welcoming. It’s a family business that she owned from her parents and she continues to run. The whole experience was wonderful. Eleni recommended the entrée as a professional owner who knows the products. We had a tartar of tuna that was fresh and with a variety of tastes in mouth. Then we shared two plates. The grilled sea bass was just amazing and it’s sauce is simple but very delicious. Then we had the best sea food pasta ever. I went to many places in the world, but this sea food pasta was just gorgeous. The shrimp had a crunchy top and was cooked to perfection, the mussel had a wonderful sauce inside it, the clams was wonderful and the botarga added a perfection that nothing can beat. The pasta was home made and of course Al Dente to perfection !!! And the sauce was very minimal as it should be and just gorgeous ! Again I never had a delicious sea food pasta as this one. All of this was accompanied by a mineral dry Assyrtiko, recommended of course by Eleni. We asked her to congratulate the whole team and the chef Yorgios who came to our table and we thanked him in person.

HOWEVER I find it absolutely mental in such a nice and expensive place like this that they cannot allow a side of seasonal vegetables because it ‘doesn’t come with the dish’. I try and eat many vegetables with each meal so I would always order some if it doesn’t come with my main (and it doesn’t come with most) - i’m happy to pay for it but two waiters tell me it is simply impossible. No extra chips either if you’re a chip fiend. They have pre-allocated said vegetables (or chips) to the dishes that come with it. What is that, like 50cents of vegetables that I would pay €8 for? Everything else was amazing, as were the people, but this really really annoyed me because it’s a stupid policy that is really unnecessary and could easily be changed. I’m not allowed to pay for extra vegetables due to red tape!! Enough to lose it 2 stars given the price we paid for everything. If you don’t care about ordering extras then it was otherwise amazing. Do come here but eat some broccoli...
Read moreFrom the outset, I wasn’t made to feel welcome - more like a hindrance. I asked for a table for 1, an older gentleman didn’t even say hello/good evening (in English or Greek) & pointed to a table. Bearing in mind it was about a third full, I asked if I could sit at another table and he said no. I was put to the side & out of the way.
I thought about leaving but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. The ladies serving in there were lovely - I have no qualms with them.
I was offered no water despite seeing on multiple occasions that other customers were. When my soft drink arrived, there was no glass. Food arrived quickly & was delicious.
I waited for at least 40 minutes before my plate was cleared - with no offer of whether I’d like to see the dessert menu. At this point I just wanted to leave.
A further 20 minutes before I gave up and asked for the bill. I’ve eaten at many restaurants internationally of varying cuisines & standards - I’ve felt far more welcome in Nobu or my local chip...
