I Come to Paros with my girlfriend out of season , got a 5am ferry to Paros , we arrived knackered in need of coffee and knocked on the door of a lovely looking bar , the owners come out and gave us assistance on where to go and people they know who run a good bakery , they also told us they were open from 7pm and were hosting a quiz night . We cooked dinner and walked down around 8pm and were warmly welcomed by the same lovely people we me in the morning , we ended up staying all night and have no regrets , what a welcome to Paros !! The owners were so lovely and went so out of there way to make us feel comfortable , the locals who went there were also amazing and a local called John joined out quiz team , he carried us ! We had planned on simply stopping by for a quick beer on our way to dinner but fell in love with the atmosphere, beer selection, the owners and their adorable doggo Jack (Jacky boy as we called him). We ended up staying for hours and getting to know the wonderful owners Ted and Christina and learned all about their story about how they met in Greece and opened this pub, as well as trying to convince Christina that Greek mosquitos have nothing on the ones we get back home in Minnesota. If you ever get the chance to visit Paroikia please visit the Jolly Roger Pub! Jack (the dog), Kristine and the owner made my mums 60th birthday - we came back twice because we loved it so much. They have great selection of beer, ales, spirits and to top it all they make you feel at home. They played an Irish rugby match we wanted to see on the big screen inside and played endless amounts of 80’s live classics on it aswell which my mum loved. Thank you guys!
