Popular, friendly place for an evening meal with a menu that pleased both teenagers and adults - was voted the majority favourite, so we ate here again on our last night in Sami. Mainly Italian food, with a big range of pizzas, pasta and risotto - small and slightly pedestrian section of traditional Greek mains (the Greek starters were very nice). Staff were super helpful and very personable. Good range of drinks including the very good Kefalonian microbrewery beer and a selection of Robola wines by the bottle. It’s buzzy but relaxed, if you’re after something upmarket / romantic waterside dining / a late night music bar vibe, then there are other places further along, but this is a a very good option for relaxed family eating and is handily central and near to the harbour...

So I had a rather interesting experience from this restaurant. We were waiting for the ferry to leave Sami at 09.00 in the morning. The place was closed and people were waiting there because of the shadow. Around 08.55 a middle aged, bald employee approached and he started screaming "Go! Go! Get out of here" just like we were animals and he insisted us to leave the place with the rudest behavior I have ever seen. He did not say anything but he started shouting to us with rude gestures to leave the place. When people asked him what happened he avoided eye contact nor he replied anything. This is the rudest behavior we have ever experienced and this person must lose his job. This place...

During our visit to Sami on Kefalonia, we found an excellent restaurant with a wide and varied menu. Everything we ordered was fantastic — the shrimp dishes were fresh and flavorful, tzatziki was creamy and rich, and the pizza was simply the best we’ve had on the island: perfectly baked with fresh ingredients. The Aperol Spritz was refreshing and beautifully served, complementing the meal perfectly. The setting was calm, with lovely views of the sea and mountains, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere.
