We had burgers here and were impressed with the service provided (although we were a little sceptical about the supposed Angus beef burgers). The place has comfy outdoor sofas (if a bit shabby and in need of a clean) overlooking the sea so we visited a few times more for the odd beer. We decided one evening to go there for a meal. I really didn’t fancy a burger again so decided to have the chicken breast dish - let’s just say, I shared it with a stray cat. The chicken was undoubtedly a frozen fillet and was served with microwaved packet rice, sliced cucumber and some strange flavoured mayonnaise. My husband had another burger as he couldn’t find anything else on the menu he fancied and he was disappointed as it wasn’t as good as the one he had previously. The lady who served us asked if we enjoyed our meals and we politely lied and said we had to avoid conflict. We had no intention of leaving a tip but the lady asked us if we wanted to add one to our card payment - leaving us feeling awkward and feeling obliged to pay a tip for a meal we didn’t enjoy. We did call for a drink the next day as we were hoping to see the stray cat again and feed it some left overs from our breakfast. The lady was pleased to see us (not sure they get much repeat custom) and even fetched a bowl of complimentary crisps with our drinks which we really appreciated until it came to payment and we realised we had been charged a full euro extra than previously for 2 large glasses of Mythos. We stopped by to get a coffee and was met with disgusting manners and rudeness. I asked for a Cortado, they didn’t know what it was. So I asked for a coffee with milk but if I could put the milk in myself, they said no. So then I asked for a Macchiato with a little extra milk, they gave me a latte! I said unfortunately I cannot drink this, the “barista” was incredibly rude and had no grace. My husband already paid (with a tip) otherwise I would had told them where they can stick their coffee!

It is not a coffee house, they know nothing about coffee, customer service or manners.

UPDATE - instead of apologising for the inhospitable behaviour of the employees the ‘management’ has doubled down in their hostilities threatening me - Hahahaha I gleefully await to hear from your lawyers you joker, nothing I have said is false therefore defamation is out the question, read all the terrible reviews you have over the years regarding the alleged scamming and terrible service!! Your true colours are here for all to see. Lastly, in regards to you ‘hundreds of happy customers each day’ who are you kidding? No other customers other than us was in there!! We visited the place for ice cream. The environment is very pretty and the ice cream was delicious. Service was on the slow side. We ordered three bowls of ice cream and one waffle with ice cream. The bowls arrived within 15-20 minutes from order and the waffle was late. They brought it by the time everyone else had finished with his ice cream and the recipe was obviously wrongly prepared, probably too much baking powder that made it too bitter.
