IL POSTO Skiathos — Restaurant in Skiathos Municipality

I recently visited Il posto in Skiathos Town and I have to say it was the worst customer service I have even had. At the beginning we asked for our tables to be cleaned as they were very dirty. The guy cleaned them after 15 minutes whilst we were standing. The blonde lady was pretending she was working as she was dissapeared most of the times. We ended up cleaning the table as it was still very dirty. We ordered food and drinks. The drinks arrived early but the food never appeared. We were waiting for 1 hour and 40 minutes for the food and it never came. Meanwhile the waiter left to deliver an order for takeaway. He seemed like the only the person working as it seems like they don't have someone in the kitchen neither a manager. We asked them many times about the food but they never justify why there was such a big wait and they never let us know in advance. There were only 12 tables and 4 members of staff on the shop floor. Absolutely amazing place! Made our vacation so much better just by knowing we have this place to look forward to in the morning! 😁 Their breakfast options are varied, I could hardly decide. Everything I had was simply delicious. Freshly made, local ingredients used, we could see the fruits delivered when we were staying there to have breakfast. High quality and the taste was out of this world. Cannot recommend this enough. We ate there 4 times during our stay. I just want to go back just to eat there! Visited on two separate occasions, first time round we didn’t particularly enjoyed what we ordered, as seemed different on menu which is no fault of anyone but our own. Coffee was alright and had a wide range of options, but very weak for a flat white. Decided to give it another go, iced coffee again, very weak and once the croissants arrived after they were forgotten about they looked like they had been sat on then punched.
