Jimmy's tavern — Restaurant in Skiathos Municipality

Don't let the name fool you, this is not just a pizza place but also a very good, fresh, affordable greek restaurant (in disguise :). Sincerely recommended. Location: the restaurant is in the middle of two bus stations 15 and 16. We found that if you're coming from Skiathos town, the nr 16 is the better choice for getting off - it's located on the edge of the road (close to a supermarket). Also if you're going to the Agia Paraskevi beach it's the ideal place to stop after a swim. You got old pine trees in the backyard to keep you cool and comfortable. Prices: the prices are affordable Food: big portions (if your not that hungry it's enough for two persons), the see-food is fresh and since we had dinner there more then once we also sow the fish distribution. Service: I felt spoiled. The owner is very polite and thoughtful to all your needs - nothing to comment on this. We absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere is so warm and homey – it feels like more than just a restaurant, it feels like a little community. The waiters seem like genuinely good people, and you can really feel the heart they put into their work.

Since we’re staying nearby, we often pass by and see the staff even when the restaurant is closed – always cleaning, preparing, or sometimes just sitting together after work, sharing moments. It gives the whole place such a special, authentic vibe.

And the food… wow. The calamari here is the best I have ever had in my life – perfectly fresh and cooked to perfection.

The only place where we ate twice during our stay in Skiathos! Food: awesomely cooked, the design of the plates very nicely done, lots of great food. Big plates full with colorful and exceptionally well cooked food. Waiting time: I would say we didn't wait much for our food and it was promptly served. Prices: good prices, not very expensive.
