Absolutely the best food in Limenas. The portions are gigantic. For instance, you order cheese salad, and you get at least the double size of an average one. The cheese salad is delicious. It could have been a bit more spicy, though.
The lettuce salad is excellent and gigantic, as well. Tha calamaris is fantastic and soft. The best thing we ordered was the grilled sardines. It’s a legend. When you put some lemon on it, it tastes even better.
The fried zucchini are great and somehow different in their waffle-like shape. The baked potatoes are a great side-dish.
But watch out: the portions are all enormous. Don’t order too much at once!
The Thassian ouzo is a good alternative to the good old Plomari.
There is a very friendly waiter who only speaks Greek. There are some other English speaking waitresses. They are all ok but seem somehow distanced. It’s a pity that the menus are either in Greek or in English. It would be nicer to have Greek-English menus because some Greek terms are closer to their equivalents in Turkish, which is our native language.
Important note: the bill is not digital. The items you order are listed in handwriting and the end sum is calculated by mental arithmetic. That’s why sometimes there can be mistakes. Don’t forget to check the bill. In our case, there was a mistake. When we hinted at it, the waitress re-calculated it. Unfortunately without saying sorry or alike. In stead, she did as if the miscalculation were our fault. After the recalculation, the end sum was still wrong. But we did not discuss further and paid. We left a smaller tip in order to compensate the...

I visited Mesogeios Restaurant with a group of 15 people and we were all very impressed by the quality and variety of the food. The restaurant offers a wide range of dishes, from traditional Greek specialties like moussaka, souvlaki, and tzatziki, to seafood, salads, and pizzas. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing.
We ordered different dishes and shared them among us, and we loved everything we tasted. The meat was tender and juicy, the vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the sauces were flavorful and rich. The desserts were also delicious, especially the baklava and the ice cream. The restaurant also has a nice selection of wines and beers to complement the food.
The only minor issue we had was that two or three orders were missed completely, but we understood that it was due to the busy hours. The staff apologized sincerely so no hard feelings. We appreciated their professionalism and kindness, and we did not let this affect our enjoyment of the meal.
Overall, we had a wonderful time at Mesogeios Restaurant and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves Greek cuisine or wants to try something new. It is a delightful place to enjoy a satisfying meal with your family or friends. We will definitely come...
Read moreFood is very very tasty and well prepared; staff is really friendly and helpful and the ambiance is great. The prices are affordable and it's not too crowded (at least around lunch time). Not only I liked them a lot, but I also ordered food to go and I'm planning on coming here...
