Opos Palia — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

Nice little restaurant just along the main road on the way to Alykes from Alykanas. Set back from the road it was quiet and not overly busy. There was a small trampoline for young kids and some having seats and caged birds in the garden. The service was very quick and the food was excellent. We had the kids chicken souvlaki, gyros pizza, chicken souvalki and bekri meze. The pizza base was not homemade but apart from that the rest was lovely. They were very attentive and friendly. Great little restaurant and super family/child friendly. It's all outside so the kids can play in the garden and you can see them from your table. There is a little trampoline, see-saw, football and a few birds in a cage which kept our lot occupied. There are shaded tables slightly inside and they have large umbrellas too. What a wonderful place to come to! A surprise between alykes and alykanas! We where welcomed by the whole family and had a diner with so much Greek taste, to left a smile. An open grill, we could see straith into the kitchen! Hard working people making a Nice living. We coups recomend...
