Paradise Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

We did not stay here sadly but literally spent every night in Paradise bar, the atmosphere is amazing, the bar is run by Yannis and his fantastic family & staff, literally could not do enough to make your holiday more enjoyable. The Elvis nights are so much fun and on a Monday night they do Greek night with the traditional plate smashing. Their Greek sausage that they bring around is sooooo good and their pizza's are the best ever and all freshly made. There was a bad review posted one of the weeks we where there by a Grace N and it was all lies because we witnessed them robbing t-shirt that another customer had actually paid for and the bar did not charge them €40. Fantastic family run bar, definitely worth a visit, Yannis, his family & team go above & beyond to make your time here special! They entertain you & encourage you to join in the fun dressing up & smashing plates, ensuring everyone has a good time. The drinks are really good & not expensive for being in a central location. The music is good & lively, we were late in the season so missed the entertainment but they played a lot of Elvis which we loved. We came to say goodbye to my late mother & Yannis showed me the best place to leave some of her ashes, he played her favourite Elvis song, dedicated it to her & stayed with us providing a shot for us all to say goodbye. This is the most random bar I've ever been to. There is so much happening at the same time. The barkeepers don't just make and serve the drinks, but also do that with so much joy and humor. They have a fake palm tree in the center of the bar that is covered in things that they pass around and randomly give people to wear. Hats, glasses, vests - really anything. The night we went to the bar there even were dancers that put up a show and danced traditionally (also with some guests). I've never witnessed so many people at peace at a bar, enjoying everything that was happening, like here. The atmosphere is truly something else. You really have to go and experience it yourself.
