S B Bar might be tucked away from the main drag, but don’t think it isn’t worth the visit. It’s a hidden little gem. It’s rustic, but run by people with hearts of gold. Mark and Collette will do anything to make your visit fee like your old friends having a catch up. Brilliant with kids fussy eating, they will give you it if they have it! Read moreHave walked past this place on our other trips to Alykes and most of the time it's been shut although we have had a couple of drinks in here. This time we stumbled (literally) upon it while walking round trying to find something to do between 2 football games. This place came to our rescue big time with cold drinks in the shade and a couple of hours of bingo!!! A great fun afternoon and a very friendly atmosphere. Read moreGreat hosts, lovely welcome. Good home cooked meals available with a speciality fish n chip night on a Friday. The fish we had was pure white flakes perfectly cooked in a light batter. Delicious! Not tried their Sunday lunch but believe that's more than worth a visit for too. We also noticed they have bingo, quizzes etc throughout the week.
