Read moreProbably my worst ever experience at a restaurant. As soon as we got seated, the waiter asked what we wanted to eat. We then said what we wanted to drink because we hadn't looked at the menu yet and he told us we needed to order everything together and not start to order before we had everything ready. Already at this point he was mean in his voice. We then ordered 2 gyros plates, with bread and salad. The plates arrived, a very small portion of dry, rubbery chicken and pork, on top of cardboard bread, and a "salad" existing ok 2-3 slices of tomato and a few strips onion. We called the waiters because the food obviously wasnt ok, but they just stated that that's how gyros is. I've had gyros several times this week and I've never not finished the meal, and lost my appetite like I did. They didn't want to take the food back so we ended up paying and leaving. They charged us for extras we didn’t order and got defensive when questioned , their argument was and I quote “Why don’t you have everything for free while you're at it?”—just wow.—one waiter even seemed ready to start a fistfight (which I normally wouldn’t mind, just not on vacation). The hygiene was shockingly bad. You could see straight into the kitchen where it looked like no one had washed their hands since the Stone Age. I even saw a waitress handling trash bags right before serving food.
If you're planning to spend €30–€40 on a tasteless meal, do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else. There are plenty of decent places in the area. This one is a scammy...
