Arrin Cuan Zona 9 — Restaurant in Guatemala City

Live Music was two times so loud, that it was not enjoyable to sit outside, also inside it was exhausting to have a conversation, although the singer was singing outside only for two persons. The rest of the guests disappeared inside to be able to talk. Also good music style and what is a good voice is debatable. Worse was, that food was not tasty at all. One of the worst Guacamole in guatemaltecian restaurants we got here. Homemade lemonade was prepared with so much sugar, that they prepared it a 2nd time in a normal way like it is served in restaurants usually. Salmon was dry, vegetables overcooked, soup with chicken also not tasty. After trying to eat half of the plates, we payed, left and filled our stomachs at home. Recommended as a very good Restaurant for tipical guatemaltecian food, it was an absolute disappointment. Not worth to spend money there. This place is amazing! Very close to where I was staying at Barcelo hotel. Typical Guatemalan local food with so much flavor, great food ,service with friendly smiles. Our server Naomi Carrillo was very helpful and kind. I did not understand some of the menu platters . She took the time out to give us details about the plate and even which region the platter was from . Super impressed! I highly recommend this place. They even had a marimba band at lunch time. Es un bonito lugar, lo que me decepcionó mucho fue que el revolcado NO ERA REVOLCADO PUES ESTABA LLENO DE CUADROS DE GRASA DE CERDO, me dolió mucho pues el plato costó Q80.00 , solo la comida porque la gaseosa costó Q20.00 y pequeña. TODO ES CARISMO. Yo he probado el REVOLCADO pero no es así ni siquiera el recado. Ir desde Jutiapa hasta la zona 9 de la capital, ya era un sacrificio enerme MUY ARREPENTIDO DE IR A ESE LUGAR.
