El Parisino • El Portón — Restaurant in Guatemala City

The restaurant/business has a number of locations in Guatemala, we visited the el porton, Zona 10 location this morning. The service was good, attentive, prompt, helpful and not pushy or overbearing. The coffee was excellent and the each of our dishes came exactly as requested. It was a bit chilly and there were seating options both garden side or inside. In spite of the peaceful garden atmosphere, there was a fair amount of background conversation sounds from other customers, but it wasn't overwhelming. They have a serious problem with the racial discrimination. First of all, there were many empty tables, but they sent us to the corner of the restaurant. There doesn’t even have any view at all. Once we asked to sit outside, they gave us a table which was not even properly set up, didn’t even have a chair. Food wasn’t even good at all. Should’ve gone to across the street to Donde Memo… this will be my last time coming to this...

Llegamos 45 minutos antes que cerraran No íbamos a comer mis amigas y yo Únicamente íbamos por un postre y café Cuando entramos lo primero que escuchamos en lugar de bienvenidas de parte de la host fue cerramos a las 7 y le dijimos que estaba bien y nos volvió a repetir que cerraban a las 7 y nos hizo una pésima cara y nos entró de súper mala gana Al sentarnos se tardaron en tomarnos la orden hasta que yo lo solicité llegó un mesero y nuevamente nos recalco que cerraban a las 7 de mala manera y nos atendió súper mal Cuando nos entregó la comida de igual manera lo hizo de forma pesada y casi tirando la comida Por todo esto decidimos NO dejar propina ya que es opcional y se debe dejar cuando se recibe un buen servicio el cual NO tuvimos Pagamos el mesero nos atendió peor Ya cuando nos íbamos todavía tuvo el descaro el mesero de pasar cerca de nosotras e ir a dejar la factura a la cajera y gritar a la par de nosotras que la mesa 17 no había dejado propina

PÉSIMO SERVICIO de ese mesero Espero tengan más cuidado en ese aspecto Y si desde 45 minutos antes de cerrar atienden así No deberían dejar entrar a la gente al parqueo desde antes entonces no dejar que uno se baje y lo traten súper mal Pasamos un pésimo momento, en lo personal jamás me habían tratado así Recomendación lleguen por lo menos unas 3 horas antes o los...
