Dinner was not just food, it was an experience. We felt like we had stepped into a global fine dining experience. Like many places tucked into Guatemala City, the establishment appears smaller than it is from the outside. The service could not have been better and the atmosphere is a respite from the hustle and traffic outside. We ordered beef & pork ribs that were accompanied by fantastic sides: kimchi, jangajji, and a young greens salad that was irresistible. Appropriately, some sides had a mild-medium heat but did not set us aflame. Ribs fell off the bone with one light push of the fork. The "mmmm" sound was audible from my partner. The customer service was outstanding, with attentive staff going above and beyond – they even noticed my girlfriend's favorite dish and surprised us with more. The place is beautiful and the food was delicious. However, the restrooms were dark and one door couldn’t lock, and the lady who served us made our experience awful.

It started raining with wind and we got wet because anyone didn’t help closing the big windows, which we couldn’t close by ourselves. She asked us about our experience and we told her about the rain issue, that there were flies around us when we were eating and that she gave vague details about the food, that it will be better to know a little more about the inspiration behind each dish. She became angry and talked back to us; very unprofessional. We understand that those things weren’t her fault but at least we expected...
