P.F. Chang's — Restaurant in Guatemala City

I have been to many all over but found that this one is lacking the final touches to be a franchise that would comfort the traveler that comes to enjoy that special pan asian flare. My pictures will reflect the good and the bad. The first day i went i was looking fo sushi and ordered two main rolls that are their main sellers. Philly roll / this was the best out of all the rolls i had in all two visits PF Chang Roll / this roll had great potential but the execution was terrible. The roll was not complete and rolled half way so it would fall apart when picked up. Now sushi is a bite size piece and typical to eat as is not soaking in soy sauce as most people do. I can say all the flavors are there and explodes but cam also take away from the simple taste that defines ahi and nori.

Did not finish my rolls being that it was falling apart. The fact is hat this happened was expressed when the management asked if everything was going well. I typically don’t comment and leave them with the bad impression they left with me but if asked i am very frank and will give my opinion as a chef, customer and foodie. Marvelous ! Excellent food, fantastic cocktails and great local beers in a modern, clean, spacious setting with very friendly and attentive personnel. Portions are large by most standards. Pad Thai was less hot than in Thailand but had all the right flavors and texture (fish sauce, but just a little ; perfect, lightly caramelized chicken pieces, very fluffy egg). Beef and broccoli was so good, tender meat, very savory yet not overly salty sauce. The pepper steak personally blew me away because it had everything I'm looking for in an Asian type dish all packed into one : great meat, crunchy vegetables, flavorful sauce and some heat. In addition to that, the sauce of this dish was also thick and sweet. Not overwhelming, but each bite put a smile on my face. Talking about smiles, what a great, smiling bunch of waiters and barmen they have here ! Our late lunch here really was more like something out of a fairy tale than a real...

We just ordered by Uber eats and I have to commend the team! We ordered beef and broccoli and it was very tasty and well presented! We also ordered orange chicken for the kiddos and they absolutely demolished it! We also had the pork dumplings and let me tell you that was superb!!!!! My husband even ordered a beer and the team sent him a cute ziplock bag with ice!!! That’s what you call service :) keep up the good work PF Changs!

We grabbed a bite to eat and I have to say the dynamite shrimp was superb! And a must to have. We also had the wonton soup, which we didn’t end up eating as it wasn’t close to being wonton soup flavor, I’m not sure what that was. We also had the Mongolian beef and that was very tasty with the fried rice. We also got the kids food and that too was tasty, all in all it was a good experience, only the soup wasn’t to our liking.
