Doce Bar — Restaurant in Sacatepéquez

Doce is a super nice place, and we love the bar, but we had a really bad experience yesterday with security. It's not the first time this communication problem with security has happened. In the past three weeks, many friends of my group got kicked out for no reason. We are usual clients and we come every week. It feels really unfair to be treated this way many times when we love going to this place and never create problems. We love everyone working in this place but the security need to do their job of listening to clients and not only kick people out when a drunk guy ask you to kick two girls out ! Doce es un lugar super agradable, y amamos mucho la barra, pero tuvimos una muy mala experiencia ayer, (y no fue la primera vez) con la seguridad: Somos del staff de Tropicana, y mi amiga estaba esperando en la fila del baño, dejó su trago en una mesa y vino un hombre que iba a tomarlo. Ella simplemente dijo que no porque era el suyo, y el empezó a gritar, a insultarla. Yo fui a ver a ese chico y le dije de no acercarse de ella. 20 min después, el grupo de ese hombre nos denunciaron a la seguridad, diciendo que mi amiga había golpeado al hombre. Ella no lo toco ! Y una señora de seguridad, que se llama Blanca, no quiso escucharnos o tratar de entender lo que pasó, y nos empujó un poco agresivamente hasta la salida. Eso sucedió a las 11:27, cerca de la machina vendiendo vapes. No es la primera vez que ese problema de comunicación con la seguridad succede.

She left her drink on a table, and a man came over to take it. She simply said no because it was his, and he started yelling and insulting her. I went to see the guy and told him not to approach her. 20 minutes later, that man's group reported us to security, saying that my friend had hit the man. She didn't touch him! And a security woman named Blanca didn't want to listen to us or try to understand what happened, and she pushed us somewhat aggressively to the exit.

Wow. Never been to a place where the waiter hasn't a clue about the beers they serve, but wants your money BEFORE even taking a drink from your first round. "Corporate policy" he said. Then we had to remind him we may have wanted something to eat, since he was so anxious to get the money from our first round of drinks, but it was way too difficult for them to make a small order of wings with half one type and half another.
