Read moreCoffee is out of this world, truly one of the best coffee drinks in all of Honduras. The food is fantastic and the deserts are exquisite. The one and only huge downside is the service and the staff's general attitude. It shows they either haven't received proper training, are overworked or just don't want to be there. We visited twice with my whole family. Both times as soon as we walked in we were marveled by the beauty of the place, but we did not receive a single "hello" or "welcome". Since it was our first time there we stood around the entrance hoping that someone would guide us or tell us where we could order; none of these happened. The staff just stood there leaning on the coffee bar, staring at us judgingly as if we were supposed to know where to go. We had to ask "should we order at the bar or at the table?" to which the youngest of the staff responded "table" in a sarcastic tone. Once we figured out seating by ourselves, while accommodating for 2 elderly members of our family, a waiter finally approached. After that, ordering was hard, especially since the waiter gave us very vague answers to our questions; they were not well informed at all on allergens in their meals and drinks. Next time we are in Copan we will try to order from San Rafael to be delivered...

We went for breakfast today. . Very expensive but ok it’s a tourist village, a really cool village.
Breakfast was OK. Asked for my eggs over medium and they came uncooked but ok.
The coffee here is a BIG deal. I got a French press. It was VERY weak. The server gave some lame excuse that it was supposed to be that way. Weak coffee. Who wants weak coffee. It was hot and brown , I drank it away. It was hot and my first cup of the day. The server came back and asked if I wanted another. I said no this wasn’t good. Instead of saying he would immediately replace it or deduct the cost. Nope 👎. Then specifically asked him to remove the charge. Nope 👎. Said that the manager would come talk with us. Nope 👎. We said that we are here five days and wouldn’t come back. Didn’t care.
👎Simple breakfast for six $85.
