Garden Hotel — Hotel in Copán

I recently stayed at the Garden Hotel in Copan and found it to be a mixed experience. The location is truly lovely, offering a serene and picturesque environment that is perfect for relaxation. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive, making us feel welcomed and well cared for throughout our stay.

The rooms, while good, were quite basic. They provided all the essential amenities but lacked any special touches or comforts that would make them stand out.

Breakfast, unfortunately, was a bit of a letdown. The portions were small, and the taste was not up to par. However, the availability of unlimited coffee was a definite perk, especially for coffee lovers.

No recomendaría el Garden Hotel por los siguientes inconvenientes: Mala gestión de pagos: A pesar de haber pagado el 50% por adelantado, al llegar me cobraron el 100%, mostrando desorganización en sus registros. Parqueo inseguro: El espacio es pequeño, sin cerradura, y los huéspedes deben abrir y cerrar la puerta. Falta de información: El hotel no tiene TV, algo que no se especifica en su web. Viajé con niños y nunca me lo advirtieron. Recepción desatendida: Gran parte del tiempo no había personal disponible. Higiene deficiente: Una toalla estaba sucia, la cama tenía pelos y estaba en malas condiciones, y el baño tenía mal olor, sugiriendo limpieza superficial. Problemas eléctricos: Varias conexiones eléctricas no funcionaban, incluyendo las del baño, lo cual complicó aún más la estancia. Respuesta al dueño del hotel: Comentario sobre no recibirme en otros lugares: Es innecesario. Mi experiencia con ustedes fue negativa y tengo derecho a expresarla. Además, me ofrecieron devolverme el dinero si eliminaba mi reseña, acepté, pero luego me bloquearon en WhatsApp sin procesar el acuerdo. Hora de ingreso: Les informé que llegaría temprano (8 a.m.) y estaba consciente de que el check-in era a las 2 p.m. Llegué a las 11 a.m., no a las 9 a.m. como indican. Me atendieron amablemente y me dijeron que mi habitación podría estar lista antes, pero a las 1:30 p.m. aún no lo estaba. También es falso que el personal siempre estuviera disponible en recepción para abrir el portón. Cobro del 50%: Jamás dije que se me cobró de más. Pagué el 50% para reservar y luego el otro 50% al llegar, como corresponde. Ausencia de TV: En ningún momento se me informó que no habría TV. The Garden Hotel is a beautiful, tranquil hotel located just a few minutes walk from the centre where you can find lots of restaurants, the central park & shops etc. |It is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for peace and tranquility but still want to be close to everything. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The long wooden balcony overlooks the flowing river and is filled with plants and flowers.
