Couple stay before continuing back to Guatemala. Near ruins (about 10 min drive) but had to walk 4 blocks into the old colonial town (hotel staff took our luggage from outside town). We bought ramputants on the way (2USD for a big bag of about 40-50!)
Nicely decorated with a bar in front of the restaurant. Dinner was delicious. Had a peso pasta (after all kinds of local delicacies recently), while my husband had chicken cooked with a local flower(?). Breakfast was also not bad. Had both breakfast and dinner in the same restaurant.

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel in Copán Ruinas. The place is charming, clean, and surrounded by nature. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help or offer local tips.
The location is perfect—just minutes from the famous Copán archaeological park, making it easy to explore the Mayan ruins. Our room was comfortable, with air conditioning, hot water, and a lovely view of the garden.
Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious, with fresh fruit, typical Honduran dishes, and amazing local coffee. After a day of walking and exploring, the hotel’s peaceful vibe made it the perfect place to relax.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and an authentic...

Is close to town square but due to rain was not able to enjoy the town and we arrived late afternoon and it was getting dark. My room was on 3rd floor and hard to find as there are many twists and turns but it was comfortable and clean. We arrived in time for Super Bowl and bar had the game for us and restaurant served very good food. I was satisfied but am positive if it had not been raining and had more time to relax and enjoy the town and hotel I would have a better feel. Would not hesitate to stay here as they have no control of the weather. Hotel is authentic and...
