Copan Ruinas is very small, the nearby UNESCO-listed Mayan ruins the rainson d'etre for tourists to visit. The hotel was just a block from the central plaza. It has a pool which was ideal on very hot and sticky days. My room had a balcony overlooking the pool. The kitchenette facilities were a surprise. Water was supplied. We actually had our breakfasts at another hotel so cannot comment on any food there. A general note: you can use Guatemalan quetzals but the typical exchange rate given in restaurants and bars was only about two-thirds the rate.
