Great little place for beer lovers. Considered the best beer spot in Honduras, and it could actually be if not for a couple of details: first the place is quite small, so if you arrive a little late, or it happens to be a weekend or festivity, probably you won't find any seating. Even if you find place, probably you'll have to share your table with strangers (this can be seen both as a good or bad thing), and lastly, usually there are only 2 types of beer available.
On the other hand, prices are great for the product you receive and in the quantity you receive it. The beer, (oh the beer!) Is incredibly delicious, Thomas (the owner and brewer) is certainly a skilled and talented brewmaster. The food is delicious (limited to a couple of different dishes as well).
It is quite surprising to find a locally brewed german beer of this quality in Honduras. (For more Honduran flavors, there's many...

Käsespaetzle is made with thick noodles (think udon) baked with cheese and, on our visit, topped with onions that were far par caramelised as in burnt. So, not very good. Music was pretty heavy rock. Got very crowded by 9:30
Reply to owner: please don’t be so defensive. I mentioned the music because another reviewer highlighted the fact that there was no music at your place making it easy to converse. And as for preferring one shape of Spaeztle over another...geez, we’re all entitled to our preferences, and all I did was describe it so others would know. Hope your hops are released soon and thanks for introducing me to...
Read moreUnique restaurant in the heart of Copán Ruinas’ cobblestone streets. Friendly staff, including Thomas, the gregarious owner, who welcomed each guest and interacted exuberantly with our group. Not sure if the beer is brewed there, but it was wonderful as was the lovely German cuisine. I’ve never had schnitzel, and I was very impressed. Everyone else enjoyed their homemade sausage, German potato salad, cheesy spaetzle and the beer battered onion rings we shared. I promised Thomas a great review...
