Hotel Casa de Copan. — Hotel in Copán

Stayed here for a couple nights in a room with AC. The 1st night I was in a room with 2 beds, hardly any room to walk around. I was told when I checked in that I would have to switch rooms the next day, kind of annoying since I booked online for 2 nights. So the next morning I had breakfast (eggs, beans, coffee, platano and tortilla) and then packed up my suitcase and left them in the room and went off to the ruins. The hotel told me that they would love my bags for me later when my new room was ready. I left the hotel at 8:30am, returned at 11am and my room was ready, it was the room next to it. Since I was solo, this room only had 1 twin bed. I had my own bathroom, AC worked well and the WiFi was decent but the room is very basic. And both rooms had this sweaty/musty smell, turning on the AC helped the smell but it was still faint. The location is central but there is also street noise. The roads are hilly and you can hear the cars and tuk tuks working hard uphill. Paid $27/night which was cheap but I’ve had better in other countries (Mexico and El Salvador) for...

This is a very nice, centrally located hotel, just half a block from the main plaza of Copan Ruinas. The rooms are clean and beds very comfortable, though the rooms are very small. It is a good value though. But what really stood out to me about this hotel was the very friendly and helpful staff. I was staying here with my 18 month old son, and the staff was nice enough to loan us their office fan so he could be more comfortable in the Canicula heat. Luis also really helped me out, I had asked if I could check out a bit late because our shuttle back to Antigua was scheduled for 14:00 - according to my ticket. Well, he called around and it came to be that this was most certainly an error, and we was actually supposed to leave at 12! I'd give the hotel itself four stars, but the fantastic, friendly, and helpful staff definitely bump...

Estadía en: La Posada de Belssy||||Tipo de alojamiento: Posada||Categoria: 3 Estrellas||Fecha de estadía: 31 de julio al 2 de agosto de 2019.||Lugar: Copan Ruinas, Honduras||Precio por 2 noches: 1100 pesos mexicanos (2 personas)||Tipo de habitación: Sencilla para 2 personas, baño privado con aire acondicionado y televisión (Habitación #2)||||||||Aspectos para reconocer:||||||||• EL check in fue rápido, la habitación se tuvo lista a las 2 pm.||• El personal simpre fue muy amable, al recibirnos y durante toda la estancia.||• La habitacion se encontró en perfectas condiciones, todo funcionando y limpio, shampoo suficiente para la estadia, agua caliente, toallas para los dos huespedes, la ropa de cama estaba en perfectas condicones, limpia, muy blanca.||• Cuenta con áreas públicas muy agradables: un café, una piscina y un área con suficientes sillas para convivir y con una expléndida vista al pueblo y a la montaña.||• La habitación fue limpiada durante los dos dias, se cambiaron toallas y ropa de cama ||• El personal fue muy amable, siempre preguntando si estabamos bien o símplemente preguntado como había estado nuestro día.||• El desayuno es gratis para los huespedes y cabe mencionar que es un desayuno muy completo y típico de la región.||• Cuenta con servicio para contratar tours a las principales atracciones||• Cuenta con wifi con muy buena señal||• Está ubicado justo a una cuadra del parque central, por lo que es excelente ya que cuentas con un supermecado a una cuadra, bares, el parque central y lo mas turistico de la ciudad. Incluso puedes visitar las ruinas de copán caminado. ||||||||Aspectos para mejorar:||||||||• Se sugiere dar mayor difusión al café/bar para que pueda ser un punto de encuentro no solo para clientes si no para quien guste entrar y consumir ahí.||• La primer noche no contaban con cerveza local y tuvieron que salir a comprarla fuera para poder vender ahí adentro, por lo que se sugiere asegurar que siempre se cuente con los insumos básicos necesarios que el huesped pueda solictar.||• Se sugiere colocar un letrero de mayor tamaño para identificar al hotel por afuera||• Se sugiere colocar en las habitaciones un señalamiento que el huésped pueda utilizar para requerir o no un servicio a...
