Coffee & croissants are fine. But there were a thing confused me, I’m a foreigner here and needed Wi-Fi, the staff gave me the wrong password, I tried to connect few times then asked for a help but was refused … I asked to take my phone and enter the password herself … she refused again … and only when I was paying the bill I noticed the another written password and there were a difference in 1 letter (you can see on the photo the wrong password) … so mistake was from their side, moreover they refused to help … I suggest: 1) be more friendly with the clients, they need not only food & drinks but also service🙏🏻 2) make printed Wi-Fi name & password, and please in a presentable way 😉🙏🏻 3) change Wi-Fi name 🙏🏻 better to name it Muterem Kavezo

"Muterem Kavezo" is a true local gem for coffee enthusiasts. Tucked away from the bustling tourist areas, this cozy coffee house offers an authentic and intimate experience. The expertly brewed coffee, paired with delicious pastries, creates a delightful combination for your taste buds. The friendly staff and welcoming ambiance make it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cup of joe. If you're in Budapest and seeking a local coffee experience, don't miss out on "Muterem Kavezo" – it's worth every sip.

We stopped by for a small coffee and a bite to eat Sunday morning. We received a very welcome greeting, generous explanations and translations of what food, coffee, and teas they had to offer. The croissants were fresh and warm, our coffee was made exactly like you see in the pictures with designs in the milk. Overall I would recommend this cafe over the others we visited in this trip if for anything else the wonderful customer service we received!

My favorite breakfast place. Delicious cakes and sandwiches are waiting to start your day with a perfect craft coffee. Műterem has its own roastery they serve their own coffee. You can also buy coffee beans here. If you prefer they can grind it for your espresso machine, moka pot or French press. Time to time I also buy ground coffee at Műterem, I can sincerely recommend them. I go to Műterem since 2015. The staff is always friendly, the coffee is always perfect and the food is mostly satisfying at all times. And you get this on moderate price. During the semester students make Műterem a bit busy. Műterem has a unique ambience, you need to check and see for yourself. The word műterem means atelier in English and usually there is some exhibition - mostly drawings or paintings. In cold weather (from October to April in Hungary) a wood stove is used to heat Műterem so expect some smoky...

My fave chai latte spot in the city. Many other fancy coffee shops in downtown make chai out of powder sadly, not Műterem. They use real brewed tea. Coffee is also high-end as their beans are craft roasted on fire a couple of blocks nearby delivered specifically to the parlour. You can buy your own batch as well. And last, but not least, the venue is special to me in many ways. You can sit down to play the piano any time. The sound system is way high-end. The warmth is magical here. Staff is sweet. Highly...
