Magház Restaurant and Teahouse — Restaurant in Budapest

We used to come here time to time for lunch. The place is quite lovely with its inner courtyards, very bright and welcoming. The staff is friendly.

Daily menu is way overpriced though, a soup & a main course used to be around 1300. Throw in a dessert and this jumps to a whopping 1500. Consider that the portions are small for a grown man, often vegetarian and sometimes even very basic (the most simple of vegetable soups & cooked pasta with cheese). The cafe?(It is a cafe feeling rather than restaurant and teahouse for me) itself is very beautiful. Especially outside sitting places! The food was less fatty than other restaurants around(good part)! But the tomato sauce taste was almost like catchup. And the mignon was a junk food for sure(Even sugar was not dissolved). Egyre kedvesebb a személyzet és van, akinek mindig elő tud varázsolni egy kedves mosolyt még a leforgalmasabb, legstrapásabb időszakokban is. Ha ez valamilyen munkakörülmény javító intézkedés eredménye, akkor jó úton járnak, ha pedig néhány dolgozó érzi jól magát, az is pozitívan hathat a többiekre. A vízadagoló hidegvizes része hónapokkal korábban elromlott, amire néhány hétig egy címke figyelmeztetett, de az is leesett. Jó lenne javítani, bár legutóbb már nemnis próbálkoztam használni. A tálcákkal szemben az álmennyezetben is van egy 30x60 cm-es gipszkarton bontásnyom, amit néhány óra alatt lehetne javítani. A bejáratnál a lábtörlő elhasználódott és ezzel találkozik először a vendég, illetve ez az utolsó kép, ami megmarad, amikor elhagyja az épületet. A süteményeket túlárazottnak érzem és a hűtött levesek mérete kicsi, tálalási módja pedig kevésbé zöld a műanyag csomagolás miatt. Sajnálom, hogy levesből nincs nagy adag, csak dupla adagot lehet kérni. Vannak időszakok, amikor igen nagy sor alakul ki, ami néhányszor már eredményezte azt, hogy máshová mentünk ebédelni, mert az ebédidő ketyeg... Hasznos lenne az aktuális forgalom online megjelenítésébe egy kis innovációt belevinni, amire számos megoldás...
