Hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant in the country, and one of my favorite restaurants overall. We come here regularly with my girlfriend and we've never had a less than perfect experience. The staff is knowledgeable about what they serve and friendly without being disrespectful, and they also have a solid sense of humor. The food is, well, great. If you want a good deal, try the "Szechuáni tészta", it's hidden near the end of the menu under "side dishes", but it's one of their most tasty dishes (also suitable for vegetarians - like my gf). Note that they do add a 10% service charge to the bill - something I don't usually appreciate, but here I don't mind and usually round up the bill anyway. Nefrit has been around for a long time from what I can gather. It's very good, but given its (ex-pat inspired) price bracket I can't help but feel it needs to raise its game.

It has an absolute winner in the form of the house special ribs, which is one of my favourite meals in the whole of Budapest. However, last time I visited, my partner's chicken dish was relatively lacklustre and lacking in any real flavour. Dim Sum Starters were very tasty.

With the likes of M10 (newly rebranded as a Vietnamese restaurant) five minutes up the road in the car offering very good food at half the price, Nefrit has no room for error at its price point. Every dish has to be bang on...
