My friend and I got really exited when we found out about this place... unfortunately, we’ve been a bit disappointed.
Entering the restaurant, it was completely empty with four employees behind the counter. No hello, no nothing. I’m used to have a waiter seat you, but after waiting at the entrance for about a minute or so, and being ignored, I just picked a table and sat down. I then spend 20 MINUTES, sitting there. Turns out it’s a self service restaurant. You seat yourself, go up to the counter and order, pay, and get your food yourself from the counter when it’s ready. Which is fine, however even after following this place on social media, I’ve had no idea that it works that way. Not one of these four “waiters” bothered to come up to me and inform me. They’ve seen me but decided to ignore my presence.
We ended up ordering. One bowl from the menu and one BYO. The Wasabi chicken from the menu wasn’t edible and it was send back without eating it. The wasabi mayo was so strong, it killed any other existing flavor of the bowl. The BYO was actually okay. However, we’ve had Poke Bowl at another restaurant in Budapest, and it was so much better.
Prices are okay, I guess. Cash and Card payment.
Staff is okay. Friendly when actually ordering but still didn’t make a point in acknowledging my presence. Speaks...
Read moreI was a real fanatic of this place but my last visit left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth not gonna lie… it’s sad to see how they had to give in to the rising prices too. The prices going up is no surprise but things that used to be regular options became pricy extra (like the quinoa zoodle base for +200huf), the M and L bowl size is gone and we’re left with one somewhere between the two… they have an automatic service fee add on too (13%) which I don’t remember having back then… now you can’t have anything for less than 4300huf and we’re talking about poke bowls :/
Of course the poke still tastes really good but the topping ratio is getting a bit skinnier than it used to be too… it used to save my life on Saturdays when I had online school all day but eating here just...
Read moreThis place offers one of the best poke bowls in Budapest. They use high quality and very fresh ingredients, especially their salmon and tuna. The atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly. We enjoyed the delicious Super Bowl which is not only beautifully presented but also very filling. It’s put together with the best of the best selection of ingredients. However if the poke bowls on the menu don’t suit your taste, you can also build your own bowl from scratch, which we also did and loved. The prices aren’t low but the portions are generous and definitely worth it. If you love a healthy yet delicious meal, then you should definitely stop by when you’re...
