At first I thought this is a Japanese restaurant, but not really. I then realized that the Menu is written in English, Mandarin and Hungarian, no Japanese so a bit sus. The staffs also only speak mandarin.
I ordered the beef udon and the salmon gunkan. The udon is okay. Noodle is okay and beef is okay. The broth tastes like a very simple and a bit weird taste profile for Japanese noodles. It feels like they just mix water and some chinese off brand soy sauce and call it a day. The salmon gunkan is a bit better with a good taste and having the Japanese taste profile. The fish was not the freshest, but I didn't expect it to be. Maybe they have good sushi, but I didn't even bother to try it. The price is also quite expensive and I don't think it's worth it. I gave 2 stars because their place and service is good, but their...
Read moreAtmosphere was bright and clean. The young lady that waited on us, was super friendly and spoke English well. Ordered Udon Chicken/Udon Vegetable, Salmon Nigiri and Gyoza. Udon wasn’t hot and pretty bland. Nigiri was ok just wanted to try since we were in Hungary. They forgot to give us our gyoza and I’m sure we weren’t missing anything. What did it for me with 2 stars was of course the food but at the end when I was taking my water to go another employee told me I couldn’t take it and when I said fine I’ll finish it, she freaked out when I was about to drink from the bottle versus pouring it in a glass. That told me that they reuse the bottles and refill them. Gross. It was a small bottle and looked sealed as if it wasn’t a water they use for the...
Read moreI am a black person. I came in for dinner and was purposely served last after everyone else in the place, including two tables of white people who I know came in after I did. This is racism. The waitress there made sure to go to all the white people first before even coming over to my table to ask for my order, when normally the protocol is to service people in the order they walk in. Once the waitress finally came over, she was nice enough, but politeness does not make up for creating a racial hierarchy with customers. I was very disappointed by this as I came to celebrate a special occasion. Unfortunately I had to postpone this until I could make it an establishment that knows how to treat everyone equally. I will never be back and don’t recommend this...
