Café Lex — Restaurant in Szentendrei járás

We had such a bad experience with the order and service. We ordered and we were waiting for almost half an hour. Although they saw us sitting there they didn't come to us, when we asked they said they forgot our order furthermore the woman ask us like she would never saw us before... After that they brought the wrong order which is not Glutenfree, despite we asked for Glutenfree cakes, and they agreed that they have many different types of cakes and we chose the glutenfree type. We wanted Tiramisu cake, they brought Nutella cheese cake which was NOT Glutenfree. And my wife has gluten sensitivity, so according to this fact she got sickness, throwed out everything, spent the time in the toilet and had a horrible poisened night. It was not a game and totally Irresponsible behavir from the stuffs. So, please be careful if you have sensevity or allergic reactions...

Despite our anticipation for a satisfying meal at Cafe Alex seeing the 5 star reviews, our experience was overwhelmingly disappointing. The staff's demeanor seemed to convey a deliberate indifference, leaving us feeling neglected and unimportant throughout our meal.

As for the food itself, it was far from the standard we expected. The dips dish we ordered was disappointingly basic, consisting solely of store-bought chips and dips, lacking any creativity or effort. Additionally, the sundried tomato bagel we selected was not only unappealing but also excessively salty, making it nearly inedible.

Regrettably, this dining experience fell far short of our expectations, tarnishing our overall impression of the restaraunt. We left feeling disheartened and dissatisfied, with no intention of returning...

Really cute place but the staff wasn’t attentive and all. From the beginning there was not one smile and getting the orders seamed to be a big challenge. Unfortunately also the food we had for lunch was super disappointing. Small portions for a lot of money. The ceasar salad was just salad with yoghurt dressing. At first we thought it was a mistake and we got a side salad because it was so small. We asked multiple times for bread and after going to the kitchen to get it ourselves we got 3 super small slices served with a big attitude. The Parmesan we also asked for (as it was mentioned in the menu) we only got after discussing with them again. I wish I could recommend the cafe because it looked super cute but the service is so extremely unfriendly that the price can’t...
