This is by far the best bakery in Akureyri. No they are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. The staff is wonderful and patient (especially with foreigners). Maybe the best dessert I have ever had in my life. The singular piece is in the 2nd picture and the entire masterpiece is in the first picture on the right upper corner. I didn't think it would taste as good as it looked. I was wrong. It was better than I anticipated. Truly a work of art. The problem is that I don't know the name of it. Auf unserem Weg wollten wir Kaffee trinken und was kleines essen. Wir haben hier angehalten, weil es nett aussah. Man zieht eine Nummer und wenn die Nummer aufgerufen wird, wird man bedient. In der Bäckerei gibt es neben Backwaren auch Getränke, heiß wie kalt. Auch Milcherzeugnisse sind erhältlich. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und wir wurden schnell bedient. Die belegten Brötchen waren Fisch und sehr lecker auch der Kaffee war gut. Man kann entweder mitnehmen oder dort essen, es gibt ein paar Tische und Stühle, sehr nette eingerichtet.
