11th Avenue Cafe Bistro — Restaurant in Assam

I went to this cafe with my daughters after sightseeing brahmaputra river front just near to it. The atmosphere and decoration inside the cafe was on point but the space was less i feel. And it was crowded as it was Sunday. We ordered penne pink sauce pasta and the fat classic burger. The menu was very classy with gen-z names and we liked it. But....the main part..the FOOD. The food was terribly bland in taste!! The pink pasta looked very delicious and aesthetic in pictures on Google maps but in reality was the complete OPPOSITE. The quantity of the pasta was wayyy less for the exorbitant price we paid. We could literally count the number of pasta in the dish. They put less pasta and too much of pink gravy and mozzarella cheese to compensate for the pasta number I feel. All We could taste was the cheese and the veggies. ABSOLUTELY NO SALT.NO PEPPER.NO GARLIC.NO WHATSOEVER.NOTHING.ONLY CHEESE. Second,the burger. It was disastrous to say the least! It looked very huge but the taste was bland. I feel the chefs forgot to put salt in any of their dishes. The chicken patties were dry,rubbery and bland. The sausages had weird texture in them So we skipped them in the burger. The onion rings in burger were of no use also because they did NOTHING to enhance the taste. The chips served with the burger was homemade but it was like eating paapad at home. Same damn taste like a khakhra. To be honest, we could taste only the lettuce and cucumbers in the burger.We left a lot of burger. We just couldn't eat that bland thing anymore. So we gave up at last. Both the dishes were bad. It's not fair after paying so much for only 2 main sides.This was definitely the first and last time for this cafe. Also the waiting time is almost 30 mins for most of the main dishes. We waited for almost 1 hour to get our dishes but the staff doesnt care about it.So NOT WORTH AT ALL. Also they take a lot of money as gst and service charges which again slaps because you feel you have been cheated on. Very disappointed.(we didn't click any pics of the burger, we were already very pissed...

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this café was so frustrating that I feel compelled to warn others. From the moment we walked in, the service was painfully slow and inefficient.

After placing our order, we expected a reasonable wait time, but instead, we had to sit there for 45 minutes before our food finally arrived. There was no rush in the café, yet the staff seemed completely unbothered about how long customers were waiting. Even when we asked about our order, we were met with vague responses and no sense of urgency.

When the food did arrive, it was nothing like what we expected. We ordered a Crunchy Vanilla Frappe, expecting a rich, flavorful drink with some crunch, but what we got was just plain milk with a hint of vanilla—completely missing the “crunchy” element. It felt like they either forgot half the ingredients or just didn’t care to make it properly.

The disappointment didn’t stop there. We also ordered ramen, but what we received was literally Maggi noodles floating in some watery soup. It was laughable how far off it was from actual ramen. If we wanted instant noodles, we could have made them at home for a fraction of the price!

To make matters worse, the portion sizes were ridiculously small, especially considering the long wait time and high prices. It felt like we were being overcharged for something that barely satisfied our hunger. And despite all of these issues, the service remained painfully slow throughout the entire visit. Getting the staff’s attention was a struggle, and they seemed completely uninterested in addressing any concerns.

Overall, this was one of the worst café experiences I’ve ever had. Bad service, misleading menu, long wait times, and overpriced food that doesn’t even match what’s advertised. Definitely not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal. Avoid this place if you value your...

the food was straight 6/10, we had iced tea , bbq chicken wings and cheesy fries. bbq chicken was saucy and sticky and sweet. if a lil more spice is added, it could make it a 10/10 for sure. the cheesy fries weren't cheesy enough. the cheese got burnt. there was cheese pull but it was not cheesy rather dry. iced tea ( regular) was a 5/10 for me. THE SERVICE! y'all can improve so much, i believe. the attitude of the waitresses was literally not welcoming at all. rather i found them rude. service was literally 0/10. we asked for coffee initially but the waitress literally said they didn't have any atm and we even told her pretty politely that we could wait until the coffee beans arrive but she refused and we were bound to order something else. we were basically tricked to order something more expensive I'd say. but after our order was placed, we legit saw the waiter bringing coffee for the other person sitting next to our table. that was really disappointing honestly. and just before our drinks arrived, the coffee beans were already in the blender. we could have waited for them to arrive easily and order what we wanted initially. also, our order arrived really late. we had to eat our starter at the end. really disappointed. the people on the counter were not welcoming, rather i found them staring weirdly at us with a really grumpy face. also after we were done, they didn't even put on a smile to bid us goodbye and ask us to visit again. it's not like there were a lot of customers anyway. there were literally few people sitting. c'mon it's basic resturant etiquette honestly!! not going...
