Pork fried rice and chilly pork not tasty. And in the name of biriyani they give fried rice mixed with chicken curry. Disappointed. Now in continuation to the restaurant's reply, I would like to mention that I never said that u served wrong order. I went there seeing good review and thinking only about dry chilli pork. I understand that I had to be specific from my part, but it was your responsibility also to confirm that right order is placed. I somehow missed that gravy written on top of the list. I am very particular about good, so when u go to a restaurant thinking of having something and u are given something else, no matter whose mistake, how do u feel? happy or grumpy? I was grumpy but still within myself. And how would u replace the biriyani when same preparation of was followed? Now dont tell me that I dont know what is authentic biriyani. Be honest, was that an authentic biriyani with full of gravy inside with sort of fried rice and cheese on top of that? THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I ATE BIRIYANI AT A RESTAURANT. I didnt take any pic of that to embarass U. Neither I wanted to make another complaint there itself, as I was already disappointed with myself, for placing wrong order. But even then the gravy chilly pork wasnt good to my taste. And u should have minumum coutesy to do something to replace the item. for none of the worthy items, we paid Rs. 490 and that is my honest review, u may like or may...
ย ย ย Read moreI stopped there only because me and my sister were out shopping and that was the only eatery near us. We were very hungry while waiting for our taxi.
So we went in and ordered two chicken-egg rolls as take-away.
While in the taxi we decided to eat and found out how there was absolutely no chicken in the rolls. My sister finally managed to find a shred in the end but the two long rolls were full of spicy oily onions. Very generic taste. Please don't make the same mistake i did. Eat somewhere else. EDIT: Replying to the owner here- My comment is 4 years old because your restaurant was LISTED four years ago. Maybe its better now but back then, it was horrible and hence I had given my scathing review. Reading some of the other reviews here doesnt necessarily change my mind....
ย ย ย Read moreChufang is a cosy little place located at sundarpur, zoo road. Their malai momos is the best in the town. I had been trying malai momos from some of the restaurants in Guwahati but these were the best. The fried momos are cooked in malai with mayonnaise as add on. Infact the Crispy honey chilli chicken was yummilicious too. Unlike other restaurants they don't cut their chicken into tiny pieces. The taste was quite a unique one. Coming to the main course we had veg fried rice with chicken Manchurian and Schezwan pork. Chicken Manchurian was my favourite and pork was also satisfying. Overall the taste was too good. The owners were quite welcoming . Loved them. Had an amazing meal there. Do visit their place and don't forget to try...
